Hola

I went to Mexico a couple of weeks ago for vacation. The area was great. The people were great. There were so many Americans that spanish was almost a second language. I agree the immigration laws need to be fixed and enforced, but that won't keep me from going to Mexico again for another vacation.

I support this boycott fully. Besides, with all of the drug violence and kidnappings taking place throughout Mexico, it is listed as the 2nd most dangerous country in the world to visit. Only Iraq is more dangerous. There are plenty of nice warm places throughout the Caribbean that have cleaner beaches and don't have so many beggars either.

I would hope that the Mexican government would distance itself from the comments made by their consulate in San Diego. Our government should be demanding an explanation as well. It's ludicrous that Utah's business community can't get past their grid to see what is really happening in the attitude of their "cheap" employees.

I agree with Hola. Why should we blame Mexico for our inability to deal with the issue? What we really should be boycotting is China.

I work with a woman that came here from Mexico when she was 15. That was almost 30 years ago and she still doesn't speak much English. She told me that this was part of Mexico and that it will be again, so it is a more common viewpoint than you would think.

WatchDog

Go ahead and boycott China by buying Made in the USA goods. More power to you - and us.

But, going or supporting Mexico, where our citizens have NO rights is a mistake. So is teaching their illegal alien kids, putting up with those who demand that we need to be speaking Spanish here, buying a house from builders who hire illegal aliens, so is banking at a bank who is willing to accept the bogus Matricula Consular Card from Mexio (they have NO centralized database of these bogus ID's), etc., etc., etc.

If you care for the Mexican people and want to help them, help expose and end Mexico's Apartheid government, and promote equality among all Mexicans, and stop the forced migration of the Indigenos into the US.

Mexico is run by an Apartheid government. The ruling class is composed almost exclusively of White elitist Europeans who hate the brown peasants, and will do anything to drive them out of Mexico. They, the White elitists, have succeeded in driving approximately 20 percent of Mexicos population out of their own country and into the US.

It is Mexico that will be part of the United States. Oh, the irony...

Not surprised

I have actually heard people from Mexico talk about the reconquest of it's lost Southwestern territory. This doesn't surprise me, but I'm glad the public is becoming aware of the real intentions of so-called immigrants to the United States.

Deport ALL ILLEGAL ALIENS...NOW!

Carson

I heard about the illegal invaders plans for reconquest around 1970.

I laughed.

I'm not laughing any more!

Help fix Mexico

We need to repatriate every Mexican citizen that is in the US.

However, before we do this we need to stop smelting confiscated guns.

Send all Mexicans to gun safety and marksmanship classes, arm them with the confiscated guns, and then send them home to Mexico.

Carson

If I remember my family history right Mexico once welcomed people to settle in their northern territories. Many did. Mexicans and Americans alike. Then there were stories of rules of what you could plant and raids and theft on some of the homesteads and pack trains
.
The United States came to help put a stop to the lawlessness. We ended up owning Mexico down to around Mexico City. We ended up with the treaty of Hidalgo. We returned much of the land we held and BOUGHT the disputed territory. They also agreed to not interfere any longer. They have violated that agreement. Their intervention into our affairs once again could set off a re-conquest of territory like they would never suspect.

First we will need a government on our side.

The Revolutionaries in the government have made it impossible to enforce the very laws they had agreed upon, enacted, and turned into law.

We are going to have to restore law and order in our government before we can restore law and order in our streets.

The Mexican government gives their citizens booklets telling them how to cross the border illegally and how to stay under the radar. The booklets in comic book form also tell them where and how to get services and help once they are here.

Mexico pushes our government to legalize the illegals and give them a path to citizenship, clearly they want to rid their country of their poor and criminals and place the burden on us. Our schools, jails and hospitals are a good example.

Hola, have at it. Americans are now being kidnapped in some popular places. I used to go there to, even as a kid with my father who liked the place. He even ate some of the food the poor cooked on barbecue grills. When he wanted to give me some, I told him Pop, don't you know that stuff might be bad,and he only said, there's nothing wrong with it. Like my Dad whos gone now, we all have to make our own decisions in life. If you feel Mexico's safe--have at it.

Bobby

Mexico is one of the most corrupt nations in the world, right up or down there with the worst. Boycotting them isn't even enough. We should not have a thing to do with that place. The early Americans who founded this nation knew better. When it was suggested that the U.S. conquer Mexico, the powerfull Senator John C. Calhoun said--it would "destroy us". These were not stupid people.

Rick Hickey

At our Day Labor Site Protest & Initiative gathering today out here in Oregon, Hispanic KIDS 7, 8, 10 yr.s old came up with thier Parents and called us Racists & Bigots for wanting Laws enforced (They even taught them the "F" word and the Bird, just for us).
KIDS are being Brainwashed that law enforcement is a Racial issue! I am concerned and you should be as well.
Is this our next Generation? Hispanics teaching their Kids to hate white people. Like the Muslims of the Middle East. Blame the White man, ignore the reality of your corrupt & irresponsible Government.

BOYCOTT Mexico! It IS a dangerous(per-U.S. State Dept.) filthy Hell hole and make their Gov't do the right thing or we will continue to be their Billion $ Babysitter for their people that have fled there.
These people are so brainwashed they have signs that say "Open the Borders" & "No human is Illegal", Charles Manson & Ted Bundy gotta love that.

Bobby

I might have given some people the wrong idea about the trips I took with my father to Mexico as a kid. I hope no one thought that I meant the food he ate hurt him. It didn't. He just wanted to buy some because he felt for the poor people who were selling it. Just the kind of guy he was.

Bobby

I know what you mean Rick Hickey. I saw all of this and more during the "Gran Marches" of the half million illegals in Los Angeles a couple years ago. Go back to Europe, the border crossed us, this is occupied territory, Nazis, no one is illegal, etc. etc. all of it, accompanied by the usuall Mexican flags all over the place with the American flag either under someones foot or upside down on the flagpole. Yep, for the sake of a few bucks, many Americans don't care about the consequences. Sick.

Mexican in Utah

Man!! You all White middle-aged and soon to be baby boomers Minutemen are so twisted. You are all a bunch of panicked and freaked working class Americans.

This used to be OUR LAND. You said you paid for it but it was a steal! You invaded California, Utah, Nevada, Colorado, Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, and you say illegal immigrants have no right to be here!!!!!!

We are here!! and we are taking our territory back! Give it 50 or 100 years, and this will be our land again!!

And there is nothing you can do about it becuase allof you will be dead (or old age).

Vickie

I went to Mexico once. It was a day trip with my husband and parents back in the early 80s. We went to Tijuana and that day trip was more than enough for me. I have never had a desire to visit that corruption bloated ditch ever again!
