McCain voted very conservatively for years as the senator from Arizona. The most conservative in fact. He can be a really great conservative. I believe that he votes what he believes...I believe that his motives are good...even in McCain Feingold, McCain Kennedy, etc. I believe he is really trying to solve problems. I think he was kind of mean to Mitt...Mitt is a good person to try to help the party. We republicans should all try to help the party or we will be stuck with Obama (scary) or Hillary (I want to vomit). The war isn't going to go away no matter who we vote for. One of the prophets said it's easy to start one, but difficult to end one. The Dems in some of the states crossed over to help give us McCain. We need to face reality and make the best of the situation as it now stands.

I didn't vote for Mitt because he should have stuck with his record in Mass. Instead, he flip-flops and becomes a anti-immigration bigot. No way I want him to represent the LDS church to the world. I casted my vote for Obama. Why? I was opposed to the needless and useless Iraq war before the invasion, "shock and awe", Whoops! No WMD's? and 4,000 Americans get killed for what?
What's that? You don't like what I said? Guess what? I am prior service US Army. I served my country and did my time, so I got as much right to oppose this war as anyone, if not more.
Mitt dropped out for four reasons:1. He could't win. 2. He was wasting his money. 3. He want's to be VP. 4. And he at least didn't want to destroy the GOP (how much worse could it get anyways?) That simple. Hillary has too much pride to do what's right and quit, plus she was already Pres. in her world.
Obama will pick Bloomberg,Richardson, or Wes Clark, to be his VP. He'l win in Nov. and we can all think God for an end to Bush.
