Don't blame him one bit. He should have called the other two a few choice names as well. In comparison to some of the other dancers, he was definitely scored too low. He has nothing to apologize for.

Scott D. Pierce:

You are a pathetic critic and "Cursing with 'Dancing' star" is probably one of the most pathetic pieces I have ever read. In fact, I feel like I have wasted my time reading and responding to this trite excuse for "journalism". But I feel that I have to respond in defense of Mr. Carolla.

You clearly have an axe to grind with Adam Carolla. It is so clear in your writing and therefore sad. It is clear that he meant the score was a "bitch" and not Inaba! Otherwise, he would have clearly admitted and copped up to it because it is in his personality. One thing Carolla isn't, is a liar or a sugar-coater. There was no need for damage control here because he does not care what people think, that is his strength.

I'm sorry, but you are a pathetic hack. You're piece incensed me. Even a layman, like myself could see through this situation. Your vendetta versus a genius and talent like Adam Carolla is a cosmic joke. Get a life, Scotty.

Sincerely,
Tony T

He is not Ohno on or off the dance floor. Love Julianne but I will not cast a vote due to Adam due to his gross behavior

OH THINK OF THE CHILDREN ... WON'T SOMEONE THINK OF THE CHILDREN!

Sorry if the only entertaining moment in the history of that pathetic show disturbed you. Don't your magic underpants protect you from mild curse words?

I'm a no talent hack but I'll make a fool of myself for enough money. This guy was just in it for the publicity and moeny, and when he got kicked off he should have handled it like a grown-up. And Tony T - you seem to like Carolla a but TOO much.

I hear words like this every day in my life, but I have to admit I was offended to hear it on a "family " show directed at a female judge who was doing her job. Celebrities who are on this show shouldn't be surprised when they are judged on their dancing, this is the whole point of the show. If there was a way to vote someone off the show I would have voted him "off" immediatly!!
It was Crude and Inappropriate and he should be ashamed of himself.

Nice job using your position as a journalist to work out an old grudge. You, your bosses and your journalism professors must be very proud.

I agree-this article smacks of bias to me. The "news", if you want to call it that, is that someone on a family show used a less-than-family friendly word & the reporter's opinion is that the behavior is inappropriate. Fine-state your opinion & be gone. Presenting past situations as "proof" that this person is a liar & scumbag is juvenile & not news. I seriously hope you aren't going to carry your puerile grudge forever, & I hope your children don't model their behavior after yours. Infantile character assassination under the guise of journalism is a discredit to others in your profession. By the by, you reported on one comment by one person. I have to wonder: how many others uttered similar epithets during past seasons that were either not aired, or not caught on camera? Perhaps you should do an expose and find out how many other vermin are on this show. I say shame on the TV network for airing it, rather than Adam Carolla for expressing a human reaction during a COMPETITION. Better go clean up the NFL next-they hate to lose too & probably curse when they do.

Scott Pierce is a critic. He's allowed to put his opinion into what he writes. Adam Corolla obviously has little control over his mouth. He's miked for what, 30 seconds and he can't stop himself from cursing? Who's the hack?

Scott Pierce is usually on the mark except for when your emotions disagree with him! And what's up with Pricilla Presley and her smile? Has she had that much plastic surgery that she can no longer smile? She always covers her mouth or turns away. Strange!

I quite agree with the writer's viewpoint. I chuckled when I got to the part about Carolla having yelled and cursed at the writer himself. I don't think it's biased -- I think it's first-hand information with which the writer can interpret the situation and reach a conclusion on whether Carolla was trying to re-write history. Curse words don't bother me. What bothers me is individuals who enter the competition for publicity reasons and do not show respect for the judges. I appreciate the information in the article.
