THIS is the legacy of Joseph Smith and the polygamy he convinced people was a revelation from God.
If there was nothing else questionable in what Joseph Smith did, this alone would disqualify him of receiving ANY of my respect.
Polygamy is a horrible, exploitative, sexist, abusive practice, and has been so from the beginning (see "In Sacred Lonliness").
The LDS Church should take some responsibility for this legacy of their founder and many of his successors!
