after that UNLV game we should be 3-0 on the road, I can't remember the last time we lost to UNLV in Vegas, they seem to be our "lucky number" over there in LV.

Go Aggies!

I agree with you that USU may very well have a three in the win column. However it won't be at the end of the first three games, but at the end of the season. You can't consistently recruit in the 115-117 of 119 schools and compete against schools that bring in much better kids. Granted a kids star rating doesn't determine the kids future level of success, but the top 20 recruiting schools have a habit of finishing in the polls top 20. Maybe you can make it up by coaching, the other factor? Likely not, Brent Guy has not gained much respect by his hirings, nor game day decisions. The best hope is to find a young stud coach with an Urban Meyer type future. Keep him for three or four years, until he can move up after establishing a growing level of success, albeit without dependance on junior colleges, or marginal California athletes.

i would like to know what kind of high school athlete they are planning to get in may when everybody know that the good athletes were picked up in this last fall. and if they are kids that can't past the test most of them are ineligible for the first year and after that it is almost impossible to keep them all four years. If guy wouldn't have coming in usu thinking that it was a big 12 school and accepted the players he had and know how to work with them then by now the Aggies would have a winning season.

The New Guy you are talking about will have much more to start with than BG did, two years as an independent then two more years in the Sun Belt well I don't think I need to go on. When you have a 1969 locker room and football field and don't have a league to play in you get what you can get. I think BG had 56 players in his first year as head coach now he can run full drills this year what a change for the good.

Yes when Utah Sates gets the NEW GUY he will do better than the Old Guy mainly because the Old Guy put into place a program that is built on freshmen and the New Guy will win more games than the Old Guy before he leaves only because the Old Guy left a team behind.

This year I hope that all the negitive media attention will go away this year by winning 4 or 5 games. If anyone knew what USU football behind the scenes are they would feel bad and open up the walet to Football. Win or lose BG has done what the past 5 coaches should have, build a foundation of players. Until the university president makes a commitment to football and budget accordingly, it going to be the same story year after year. When BG was at Boise State, they put time and money into the program that they have built, look at the success they have today. What has USU done, besides an overdue endzone facility? Also Randy Spetman did more in 4 years than the 4 AD's. When are the true aggie fans going to join up and support Big Blue. The potential is their, open up some funds.
