Wonderful.
What a whacko | 2:31 p.m. March 17, 2008
Maybe the Lt Governor should be Patrick Byrnes. Would create a perfect duo of crazies.
Wayne | 2:51 p.m. March 17, 2008
Del has less of a chance than Merrill Cook. I served a mission with Jon Jr. and it's a toss up on who would do a worst job as govenor, Jon Jr or Super Del. Jon Jr. is a Democrat in Republican clothes and Del is the idiot of the century.

I wonder who in the Republican party told him not to run....
Anonymous | 2:54 p.m. March 17, 2008
I'm sorry but his commercials alone ruined his creditability! Not to mention his other issues with the law! Sorry dude..You have no chance!
whatever | 2:48 p.m. March 17, 2008
can you say "Narcissistic Personality Disorder"?
Superdell | 2:49 p.m. March 17, 2008
Please vote for me. All your wildest dreams will come true!!!!!
Prosecutor | 2:49 p.m. March 17, 2008
News reports would lead one to believe Utahns are embarassed by Dell Shanze, but not by Rocky Anderson.

Bias?

While "quirky" is certainly an apt description of Dell, "scary" would be a better handle for Rocky. At least Dell hasn't aligned himself with the greatest and most dangerous financial and political scam of all time -- global warming alarmism.
Not Me | 2:53 p.m. March 17, 2008
If this guy gets elected I'm outta here
Maxwell | 3:18 p.m. March 17, 2008
Who in their right mind would vote for that guy? He's insane.
fun times ahead | 3:27 p.m. March 17, 2008
well at least the normal boring climate of utah polotics will have some intresting shack ups
Anonymous | 3:28 p.m. March 17, 2008
I can't wait until he gets one vote. I just want to hear his diatribe. I wonder who he'll blame this time?
Governor? | 3:29 p.m. March 17, 2008
Actually, I think he should be appointed to be ambassador to Jumba Wumba!
Yea Right | 3:35 p.m. March 17, 2008
This guy is a complete idiot if he thinks he actually has a chance of being elected.
Jill Taylor | 3:43 p.m. March 17, 2008
He's got my vote! He has just enough guts/brains to really make things happen!!
jim Shoe | 3:44 p.m. March 17, 2008
I will vote for him over Jon Jr.
I'll vote for him | 3:48 p.m. March 17, 2008
I'd much rather have this guy than all the socialists that swarm around the state capitol. I used to think we had some people around here that didn't believe in stealing from everyone to pass the loot around and bribe people to vote for them. But, the entirety of government is that way now.

And hardly anyone listens to sense anymore. You're all just scared by the screams of "Think of the children!", "The terrorists are coming to get us!", and "The Mexicans are coming!"

I'd like to have a government that will leave me alone, and stop stealing the hard-earned fruits of my labor. Schanze is perhaps one guy who might be able to do it.
Mike | 3:54 p.m. March 17, 2008
He's got my vote.
Utah Resident | 3:57 p.m. March 17, 2008
Supedell needs to be put out to pasture, along with the rest of the farm animals!
Jeff Stauffer | 4:02 p.m. March 17, 2008
I would love to see this guy elected as Governor. Think of the entertainment factor. I would TiVo every State of the State Address while he was in office and file it under "Don't ever delete." I would actually care what goes on up on capitol hill. Life is short. Why not?
BK | 4:01 p.m. March 17, 2008
If no one else is running, I'll vote for him over Jon, Jr.
Look! See Dell run! Funny Dell! | 4:08 p.m. March 17, 2008
First of all, we're all giving him exactly what he wants- ATTENTION!!! Mr. Schanze is having withdrawals because he hasn't seen his face on TV much lately.

I guess this is better than his regular community antics. I think he ought to try Hollywood. That is where this guy belongs. Either that or become a TV evangelist or start a talk show.

Fun, fun!
Ummmmmmmm... | 4:10 p.m. March 17, 2008
Who moved the rock he was hiding under? Or did he shoot his way out from under it? From Chris Buttars to Super Dell, Utah politics need a good purging. Can't we just vote for a new Elvis stamp???
Anonymous | 4:13 p.m. March 17, 2008
I didn't know he ever ran for Mayor. Guess I blinked and missed the commercial.
What a Choice!!!! | 4:19 p.m. March 17, 2008
If it comes down to John "I'll do whatever Schwarzenegger does" Jr. and Super Dell, crazy Dell might just get my vote.
Park City Resident | 4:25 p.m. March 17, 2008
Couldn't be any worse than the moron that we have now.
Rob | 4:20 p.m. March 17, 2008
I will vote for you Dell.. cause I know you will get rid of these rediculous laws they keep installing, about 200 a year....

Mike | 4:25 p.m. March 17, 2008
I'll vote for him. Compare his accomplishments with smiling Jon Jr. He actually started and operated for many years a very successful small business. He did not inherit his wealth from Daddy. He knows the struggles of small business. Johnny says he is a conservative Republican and acts and spends like a liberal Democrat. Minnesota elected a wrestler named Jesse Ventura, why couldn't Utah elect Super Dell.
Anonymous | 4:26 p.m. March 17, 2008
Why not? Is not Arnie a gov and Hulk Hogan?
Zippgy | 4:35 p.m. March 17, 2008
Governor? Are you kidding? Super Dale can go to he-doubletoothpick!
slclifer | 4:34 p.m. March 17, 2008
super dell and super deller.
Mills Levan | 4:42 p.m. March 17, 2008
This guy is running for one reason only - to get media attention. And it's working, isn't it? Wanna bet that the next "fringe" candidate who files doesn't get this much ink? What a joke!
Bryan | 4:42 p.m. March 17, 2008
He would be a "totally awesome" candidate for the Libertarian party. Just think about the vetoes: "I'd rather french kiss this pig than sign this stinky legislation."

He probably has a real chance at getting elected. After all, gubernatorial elections are much more about name recognition than overall experience or effectivenes. Recent examples ('Ahh'll be bahhk' Arnold; Jessie 'The Body' Ventura) come to mind. Oh yes, I almost forgot: Jon "my Dad's got a big company" Jr.
JA | 4:46 p.m. March 17, 2008
To "What a Whacko"

I work for Patrick Byrne (not Byrnes) I would appreciate it if you would not comment on someone you know nothing about, for petes sake you can't even get his name straight. Patrick is a bright and intelligent person with a passion for his business. I don't know Dell so I won't comment but keep Patrick out of it.
Anonymous | 4:49 p.m. March 17, 2008
I wonder if SuperDell would would be so nutty if he hadn't gotten rich so quickly.
go SuperDell | 5:16 p.m. March 17, 2008
I'd vote for him, he seems the best nut out of all of them running. And a good laugh every now and then is healthy. The State might even safe on computer expenses and put more towards education.
Oh Really | 5:18 p.m. March 17, 2008
"JA" that sounds just like a Patrick Byrne employee. Could you please let me know the last time that the big "o"af made a profit and how many bodies has he left in his wake?
Bryan | 5:26 p.m. March 17, 2008
It will be fun to see how the "angels of Satan" get along with Super Guv. for four years. I can't imagine one single nice story will be written about him by the liars and murderers that brought down the "greatest computer company of all time."
katamb | 5:26 p.m. March 17, 2008
Yeah, and I want to be Jennifer Aniston - neither is going to happen!
To Anonymous at 4:49 p.m. | 5:32 p.m. March 17, 2008
Anonymous, I have watched Super Dell's antics for the past fifteen years and it is my considered opinion that Super Dell would be nutty under any circumstances.
Debates | 5:34 p.m. March 17, 2008
I just hope we get to see him in the debates. That sounds like entertainment to me!
Barry | 5:37 p.m. March 17, 2008
I'm so glad he's running for office because now I'll be able to tell him what I think of him by NOT voting for him.

ZERO votes in 2008 !!
CantDrive55 | 5:37 p.m. March 17, 2008
It would be totally awsome having him repeal all of the speed limits for school and residential zones in our state! I'll be the first to drive by his house at 60 mph, as he drove through our neighborhood here in Draper. Hope he doesn't shoot.
Anonymous | 5:47 p.m. March 17, 2008
If Patrick is so bright and passionate about his company, why can't his company turn a profit yet. Dell and Patrick seem to be a good fit. They are both delusional.
Just Let Him Try | 5:48 p.m. March 17, 2008
I don't know what planet Super Dell is on (planet Dell - thus the name), but on this one he is simply going to embarass himself.

Even conservatives like me would not entertain the idea for a second.

I bet he could probably be elected Super Duper Extra Powerful King of the Planet Dell...maybe.

Just don't tell him nobody else is running... or that there is no such position... or such planet...

Shhhh well keep this little secret until his medications kick in.

Sorry, but you pull this kind or stuff and you deserve it.
Ben H. | 5:53 p.m. March 17, 2008
He will not get the nomination. He will not even get enough votes in convention to force a primary.
Vote For Pedro..err SuperDell! | 6:10 p.m. March 17, 2008
Super Dell offers you his protection!

Honest. He's packing more than just ideas!
Hate to say it | 6:06 p.m. March 17, 2008
but i think i prefer rocky anderson over SuperStupidDell.
OK, Super Dell | 6:13 p.m. March 17, 2008
How many of the above "nyms" are you in disguise?

Time to come out of the closet.
Lt Gov | 6:36 p.m. March 17, 2008
Dan of PC Laptops should be his Lt Governor if Patrick Byrne is not available.
