I suppose we need more room to house the 'dog kickers' and 'slow drivers'.
Maybe the new inmates can help clean up the gas spill in Gunnison?
I think we need to take a look at maybe decriminalizing some of our laws or maybe we could put a big fence all the way around the state and let the few non criminals out.
Why is it that we're constantly having to expand the correctional facilities to house more inmates? Hasn't anyone ever asked the question whether or not the "system" is actually working? Just my thoughts.
Kudos to Mia. My thoughts as well.
I think that maybe we should take away some of the finer things that inmates get, They do these horrible crimes and get to go sit in the stupid prisons and be responsible for the damamges they cause like child molesters and peopele who rape little girls and boys, they should go with out special things that most inmates get. it's not cool that my ex-husband can sit in a warm cell clean clothes warm food security everyday after raping and molesting my daughter and we sit out here wandering what we will have one day to the next. Maybe we take away some of the privilages he gets and give give back into the prison system.... Just a thought
The mistakes made by some should not affect the privileges of the rest of the prison population. The mistakes made by the inmates is what keeps Gunnison city in the red. So don't bite the hand that feeds you.
