Utah Jazz notebook: Williams could have been on other side

I think the refs are losing control again. They seem to be letting players get and act frustrated too much. 'Bout time they started cracking down on the attitude nonsense that some players are again getting away with.
Of course, that won't help the Jazz because some players complain a little too much. They need to realize the refs will never be completely neutral when it comes to sports teams from Utah.
Just because Paul has panned out to be the better player (at least according to the stats, which never really say anything considering Stockton and Malone together own about 60% of all the career stat marks...and never won a darn thing) does not mean that if you went back to that moment another team would have taken CP3 over Williams.
One more important fact...before the draft there were media bits out of NO that they were high on Williams, but would be happy to see Paul still on the board at that point. They quickly changed to wanting CP3 all along, but in reality, Williams was their first choice too.
Sloan needs to get a new soundbite or figure out a new way to say this. Every single interview he ever does he says "what we wanted to try to do."
Even still...he is right. If they "stay with what they want to try to do" then they win, more often than not.
Just ask the Celtics. Did anyone else read the quote from Paul Pierce, that it was like being picked on by the playgound bully.
Right on. You go Jazz!
GO JAZZ! Stay healthy and go for the best record in the West. It is possible. Just WIN!!!
Regarding the Boston game, while the game was called pretty well, all things considered, the Jazz definitely got the best treatment that night. When you document the calls, the data doesn't lie.
