NO way that new mexico deserves to get in. their RPI is around 60 and it will continue to go down and SOS is 111 the last I saw. Also no quality wins anywhere on the schedule. Also the Mountain West doesn't deserve 3 teams. BYU is a lock and UNLV better be careful or they might get bounced in the end.

Woulda' coulda' shoulda'. How many times this season did we endure a game like this, only to lay an egg at the end? The season coulda' been so different had we learned how to win like this before the conference tournament. It looks like most Ute fans thought they knew the way this was going (I was one of them) and went to bed before the inevitable end as the only other comments above are from Cougar fans. Thanks for the comps by the way, and yes it would be fun to meet up again one more time this year. Finally, once again yes, we should have a decent chance against the unfair home court advantage and UNLV. Maybe the Utes will finally figure out they can win the close ones after all.

I agree with you John, I think the Utes ended New Mexico's hopes of an NCAA Birth. They were a bubble team to begin with and an early loss in this tournament is bad news for them! There are too many other teams out there that are deserving of a tournament bid..

After watching the game last night I wish the BYU kid would have been given the award outright. The taunting, celebrating and chest thumping got old and showed a lack of class. Great to see him miss the last shot. Good game Utes.

Good luck Utes against UNLV but you'll need more than luck. If you saw the end of the UNLV/TCU game you can see why there is a home court andvantage. No way a ref calls that foul on a neutral court. It was a no call situation and the ref made a home court call.

Of course, all of the BYU fans are now Utah fans. I can see right through these so called "classy comments." Shows how confident you are in your team. Simply put, the Courgars are in fear of meeting UNLV for the championship, so you need Utah to knock them off. If you are a top 25 team, then you should be able to knock off UNLV on their home court. It's not about a BYU-Utah matchup! You just want to avoid UNLV--plain and simple.
