Provo Teacher

They aren't here now. They've been here since I started teaching in Provo over 10 years ago.

The biggest problem I see right now are at the Middle School level. Provo made a big mistake in moving back to two middle schools. 1000 7th and 8th grade kids in one building is way too many! There are many flying under the radar and recruiting. Classes are too big and teachers can't see every problem.

If they are serious about solving the gang problem, we need to get serious about reducing the size of our middle schools and their classes.

The place where we should be spending the most money is the place where we spend the least.

What are the demographics of these "gangs" in Provo and Utah Valley?
