"El Rey" is truly the king of the ckicken! I moved out here from so cal 20 years ago and have been waiting for "el pollo loco" lo arrive ever since. forget those guys, the King has arrived. i eat there several times a week.
Address(es) would be helpful -- sounds like a place we'd like to try.
From the print edition:
760 E. Fort Union Blvd., Midvale
(also at 1320 S. Swaner Road, Salt Lake City)
Don't know why those weren't included in the web edition.
this new restaurant has really done their homework. their foods is fresh, the taste is very nice and it has unique flavors. the place is very clean and has a good overall enviroment. the staff is very friendly i spoke to robert monge who seem very knowlegeble about the menu and history of how el rey del pollo got started back in feb of 2007. this stablishment not only serve the best moist organic flame-broil chicken in the planet but also makes the best pork ribs. they also make thier own bar-b-que sauce that is different than what your're use to. don't wait any longer go check this guys out at 760 east fort union blvd in midvale or call them 801-352-7994 they do delivery as well 1-888-809-5177
