Interesting. I guess my original comments were too "abusive, offensive, off-topic, misrepresentative" to be posted.

How did Mr. Rock get to publish his article? It seems like it wouldn't have passed the inspection above that prohibited my own comments.

DesNews needs to find some new sports editors. The old timer journalists are jealous of James Edward's growing readership.

Looks like Rock simply looked through the archives of every soccer-ignorant site out there, and cut and pasted the typical answers we RSL fans and soccer fans have been hearing our whole lives. BORING Brad, very boring. This is the same old stuff. If you are truly a reporter or writer, come up with something new. Luckily your generation will be gone soon and we who have grown up with the sport can enjoy actual journalistic coverage.

Editor- really dumb idea to include that in the RSL preview. That's like putting an anti-religion article in the religion section- what were you thinking? I guess you agree with Brad? Very shortsighted.

Thanks to James for his great coverage. It is GREATLY appreciated- someone who actually tries to understand the sport writing about it that's how it should be. Brad,if you hate it that bad just leave it alone. We'll all be happier.
BRock is a Hater | 8:25 a.m. March 20, 2008
Just another soccer hater in America, it's cool to hate on soccer, right? He must keep writing these articles because he doesn't like the fact that RSL gets more headlines and attention than the Bees, and the Blaze. Not to mention they are talked about as much as the Jazz are! Better start writing hate articles so soccer doesn't take off, we've had a pathetic team and people are still nuts about it! Guess what, regardless of what this hater says hundreds of millions of people will always support the game and those people would laugh at this article. A couple hundred haters in Utah like this and B Rock thinks he has made some friends by hating on something else. Didn't he learn his lesson in Elementary school? Brock is hoping that he can get 150 fans, B ROCK you have a long way to go, Soccer is way more popular than you will ever be. Keep trying though, I mean you only have hundreds of millions of fans to acquire to win your little game.

My favorite Simpsons sketch is where the Martians are watching baseball. They are so bored by it that they speed it up and announce "ITS STILL BORING!!!"
I may not enjoy "sports" like NASCAR and Baseball, or Basketball but running a smear campaign against it doesn't make you any more of an athlete, or a man. Sorry Brad.

Brad, if you're going to hate on the soccer at least be funny. Your article was a lame rehash of 20 year-old jokes that weren't funny to begin with.

This article doesn't offend me as a soccer fan, it offends me as a comedian.

(note: I am not a comedian; I'm trying to use 90's era television to prove my point, as was moderately successfully employed earlier in the comments)
