Jimmy's Sneakers | 6:34 a.m. March 11, 2008
Jimmy would like to see AK come off the bench for a while with Harpring starting the game next to Brewer. Jimmy thinks that AK could put up better numbers running with the second unit and that may keep him happier. And as Jerry always says it is not who starts the game that matters, but rather who finishes it.
Sloan Hater | 7:21 a.m. March 11, 2008
I hate to agree with Jimmy's, but AK would (and should have always been) a Great 6th man. I couldn't disagree more about Harpring though, he brings toughness and energy from the bench. He also doesn't complain about minutes or 'touches.'

Stick Korver in the starting lineup. Like Dwill said, why not come out aggressive on the offensive side instead of having to play catch-up?

Look out for Nocioni. He has been playing great.

Jazz trips to Chicago always remind me of the 6 World Championships won AFTER firing Sloan.

-shaking head sadly-

Retire Sloan. Your farm needs you more than the Jazz do!

Sloan Hater is talking nonsense. Are you saying that European MVP in 2007 is only a 'great 6th man' on the Jazz roster? This statement couldn't be more silly.

Hey, there must be something to Sloan's wisdom...Example, if Sloan were coaching this
years Miami Heat with Wade and formerly Shaq,
rather that Pat Reill they would have been contenders.
He still does not call appropriate time outs,
double team high scoreres or defend the 3 point
shot, other than that, he has NEVER had the talent
of Jackson or even Popovich, sans Stockton and Malone.

Ak, a sixth man? Seriously, that is one of the dumbest comments that I think I have ever seen on here. Harpring a starter, not in a million years. Why would you sit someone on the bench that makes 86 mil a year and other teams design their own defense around (meaning AK)? Any other team in the NBA will tell you that even though he doesn't score the most points, you still have to play around him because he hurts you in soooo many other ways. Get real people, AK is a starter, and would be a starter on ANY team in the NBA.

Back in 2004 AK was the only guy we had. He was an all star that year and we built our offense around him. there are plenty of teams that would love to build a team around him.
Harpring could start for many teams. That guy is tough. He brings a lot of energy and toughness off the bench. You gotta love a guy that gets booed in other arenas. That means he's playing well for you.
