National Volleyball Tournament
Warren Van Schalkwyk is part of the Utah Valley 40s men's volleyball team competing for a title in the USA Volleyball National Championships held this weekend at the Salt Palace. The team defeated another Utah team in its first game Friday, Sweet Yams, 25-19, 25-22, to earn a bye for the first round of the double elimination bracket that will determine the over-40 champion.

Lets finish the season strong and on a very positive note. We struggled at first but hopefully this is the right time to peak and if the Aggies peak now, good things will happen. Lets go beat Idaho.
Idaho is not a tough opponent and has a losing record, should be a W for us. I would like to see some better teams on our schedule in the future. We didn't really have any great competition this year, so I don't think we were really tested. Could we have beaten a team like BYU this year? I don't know. A lot of our fans think so but the only way to know for sure is to actually play each other. At least we'll get a chance next season. Stew, don't dumb down our schedule!
Aggie fans are mad the BYU game next season isn't going to be in Logan but will instead be at ESA. Maybe if BYU's administration hadn't become disgusted with aggie fans' behavior in Logan then this wouldn't have happened. But you can't put all the blame on aggie fans. That sort of thing just happens after milking cows all day.
We have a great teem that can't be beat and we are going ALL THE WAY!! Our teem can easily make it to the final 4 and will most likely win the championship, we are just that good and we have Jaycee Carroll who is a god.
