As a consumer this is good to know, that there are means to get good honest appraisals. And as a consumer it seems plausiable for a consumer oriented program to use when home owners higher contractors to remodel or repair their homes. The Utah consumers are open and subjected to repeated scams by private contractors and any means of confirming job costs would be helpful. These small private contractors many times only give a guesstimate of the cost, usually excessive, and the consumers need a source of information. Afterall, the consumer is always the loser when it comes to businesses and contractors. Consumers have no source of information or means of verification of information of its local home remodelers. A program based on local costs of materials and needed materials would be of great benefit for consumers involved with non insurance repairs and remodeling with consumer costs and jobber costs.

Being that i have worked for Xactware for a few years now i can say without a doubt that its an excellent honest family driven company that cares about its employees and customers.

At A-Systems, we actually wrote an interface between our job costing software and Xactimate and their new product, XactRemodel. Now, an Xactware user can transfer an estimate directly into A-Systems JobView in a single step, creating a budget for the job. A-Systems is another Utah company, actually the first company to develop accounting software for the PC. This year A-Systems celebrated its 30th anniversary. Like Xactware, A-Systems is low-profile.
