Utah needs to dump the DPC amendment and get rid of the DPC all together.
Its a magnet bring illegal aliens to Utah
Oh, Dump Senate Majority Leader Curt Bramble too!
There was no stomach for this type of a bill at all until a LDS Church leader spoke out on being more kind to illegal immigrants. What part of the word illegal is so hard for the legislature to understand. If people want to drive in Utah, they can get here legally and follow the law. It's easy.
What a strange, petty amendment. Oh well, the whole debacle has been strange and petty, why change now!
I would much rather have people that have at least a DPC on roads with insurance instead of like you suggest and take them away and have a lot of uninsurred motorists on the road. So why don't you get real!
The need for this amendment should be pretty clear: If an illegal alien is able to obtain a paper card on site, they don't have to provide a valid mailing address for the card to be sent to. Romero was simply trying to allow his illegal constituents to continue to lie when obtaining these cards.
