The thing to remember is that ALL of the lead, zinc and toher metals that are the concern of this report have been in the ground in Utah since the mountains were made--circa 68 million BC. Picking it up and moving it a few miles north does not change the amount of toxic metals in the soil. In fact, the refining process removes a lot of the materials, including sulfur. There are similar amounts in the dirt under your lawn. If you believe all life evolved, we evolved in an environment which included these trace metals. In fact, we need some trace metals in our diets to be healthy. If you believe that God created the mountains, then He put the metals in the rocks, not Kennecott.
