Great article. This just goes to show what our legislators will do in the name of being "conservative". It is scary that this is our their opinions are formed and that they can conscientiously vote for something they really know nothing about.

Sad thing is, this is indicative of the mental state of all of our legislators -- uninformed, close-minded, and only paying attention to like-minded groups like the Eagle Forum. It's only by luck that this issue turned out for the good.
I wish Dayton would personally make up the additional $200,000 to bring the sum for IB funding to what was originally asked for - since this is what she probably cost her constituents in time and money to bring her out of her internet-induced coma.
