Out sourcing our military equipment to France seems right in line with everything else. Why not? I guess this is just more work that Americans won't do. By the way the supposed 225 jobs that are planned for Utah isn't even a drop in the bucket. Besides now Boeing will have to sue, and this will keep production from moving forward for years, while the Air Force continues with the KC-135 most of which are over 50 years old and could therefore be qualified as a museum piece.

The Airbus A330 is the better aircraft. Look at alrline orders since approx 2000. Sales of the B767 have dropped as sales of the A330 have increased. The B767 is older technology; the B757 (VERY similar to the B767 in design) is out of production. Dispatch reliability statistics for the Airbus fleets are higher than the Boeing fleets. The USAF will love this machine!

But American; but only if the product is the best; or at least equal. Is your first choice for your personal automobile from Detroit? In most cases, no.

Boeing has a huge winner in the B787; they will do fine.

Airline pilot, you are wrong. The 767 has better dispatch reliability than the A330, it also has lower Maintenance cost, and is more efficient. It's just smaller than the A330. That's why in Airline service it's being phased out. Same rules do NOT apply for Tankers.

The USAF wanted a replacement for the KC-135, they took a KC-10 replacement instead.

As far as stacking up the KC-767 was rated JUST AS GOOD, and better in some areas than the KC-30.
