I think it is a great idea for Ms. Hill to run as a democrat in the UC (Utah County). In fact, a little diversity never does anyone any harm. You know what happens when families are in-bred, the same can be said for Utah politics. Good luck Ms. Hill.

Want change in Utah?

DONATE to help these Democratic candidates run against the establishment.

Another Utah county democrat that is all we need on the hill. So what has she done that makes her better then the other person who holds the seat. SO Don Quixote are you saying she is in-bred I'm not sure at what you are saying about her.

John

Are you saying that she is in-bred? I don't think that is a good thing.

Ignorance abounds in Utah

What is wrong with you people ?????????/
Only problem I see is she is rich or not doing well as an Attorney
The question is????
What will she do for the people that the incumbunt has not been doing except keeping the seat warm
We need people that will serve the people
Utah is in a State of Cahoss
My personal opinion, We Live in Cuba

I agree in some cases change is needed. However, Rep. Chris Herrod has been a good change already. I think Rep. Herrod has done well in and has stood up for what he believes in. I was a skeptic of him before, but I will be supporting him this time at convention.

Few Will Break the GOP Habit

State House District 62 History:
2007: C. Herrod (R) appointed
2006: Uncontested (J. Alexander (R) elected)
2004: Uncontested (J. Alexander (R) elected)
2002: Uncontested (J. Alexander (R) elected)

Hmmm ... one would think that Democrats would have run a candidate for that seat by now if it was a competitive district.

G.W.

It is very convenient for her to change parties now that she is unpleased with the Republican Party. She also said, I point out that the good old deseret news who, claims them always tell the truth and leave nothing, out forgot to mention that the way Herrod got into office was by a back door deal in the Republican party... What happened when Rep. Becker resigned from the house of representatives??? Umm the same thing they did in Utah County... Wow you mean they did what they were suppose to?? Wow that sounds like a back door deal to me!! Yet another person who knows they wouldn't stand a chance running as a republican so they change parties as if that is going to help them!!

I think Herrod is doing a fantastic job. I don't see know reason why he shouldnt remain. I especially like Herrod's voting record and stance on illegal immigration. I think there is a hidden agenda with Mrs. Hill if she can only come up with generic reasons for running for office, i.e, like claiming to be more intelligent.

Emma

It will be exciting to see how this all falls out. I would encourage you to look at the whole candidate and vote for the one with the most integrity. I am sure Ms. Hill would pass all tests!

Barely out of the gates and she's shown that she's a party hopping flip flopper, way to get started digging your hole!

Another outstanding Democratic candidate from Utah County! Way to go, Claralyn!

Something is stirring in Utah County. People are fed up with how ridiculously out of touch our embarrassing state legislature has become.

Look out, GOP! Your days as an uncontested monopoly are numbered.
