I happen to know this family and I know what they go through every day with the life-threatening illnesses their children have and I think they deserve all the help they can get. Insurance does not cover the cost of rebuilding their house from the re-graded lot up; please do your homework before you say ignorant things! Their home had water damage that was not disclosed to them when they bought the house so how were they supposed to fix it?! And yeah, a lot of people do have sick kids, but it's by the grace of God that these kids are even still alive with the problems they have. Again I say, this family deserves any help that comes their way.

I am grateful to those willing to help. I know how hard it is to have children with serious illness. THEN TO HAVE YOUR HOUSE DECLAIRED UNLIVEABLE, that is more than one can take, let alone this family. I know how hard Kevin is working to support his family. He is in school full time (getting his RN, and working fulltime to support his family). I am grateful to those who are willing to help this family. My thoughts and prayers are with this family.

I am so sorry your family had to foreclose, that is a disaster in itself. However, this family not only lost their house, they still make payments! id you know that insurance does not cover mold? This family also have children that may not live to the next day. The children are at Primary's at least three times a month. The emotional hardship is incredible.

You might wish to add your sons name and circumstances to the foundation if you feel this strong. I personally am so very happy that someone in hardship is being blessed. Hurray for the foundation it must have been a difficult decision to make a choise.
