We felt the earthquake in Burley Idaho. It shook us awake and lasted for less than 10 seconds.

I felt that and saw items on a small table sway back and forth. It wasn't much, but enough to make me notice and wonder if there was a quake. I live on the west bench of Salt Lake valley. Anybody else notice it?

I didn't feel a thing in Park City. I was making breakfast. Wonder if it caused any avalanches somewhere.

I live in South Jordan, I was in bed watching Fox news, about how to prepare incase of an emergency, when I felt the bed moving a little, I was a little confused because it wasnt felt that strong but my bed was rocking softly..at first I thought I was moving the bed with my hand since I was putting all my weight pressure on my arm cuz i was sitting up, but now I know it was an earthquake.

I live in Carlin,NV. It was pretty good here. It made the house shake and my chimes go off in the house and also made some things fall of my hutch.

If you felt the earthquake, please go to the USGS dot gov earthquake website (wish I could post it here!) to report what you felt and the kinds of damage you observed. This will help seismologists analyze the quake and prepare for future events. Look for the "did you feel it?" link.

Are there going to be more earthquakes?

I was playing with my kids and missed it. My husband said he didn't feel anything. We are in West Jordan on very dense clay soil.
Kia | 8:40 a.m. Feb. 21, 2008
I was sitting right here at my desk in Draper, UT. Didn't feel a thing.

It's really fascinating to me to see how strong it was in some places, and nothing at all in others not too far away. Felt in West Jordan, but not in South Jordan? That's really weird.
RONALD | 8:41 a.m. Feb. 21, 2008
I WAS IN CAPE CORAL FLORIDA, DIDN'T FEEL A THING.
Lynn Lesher | 8:43 a.m. Feb. 21, 2008
I was at a stop light at 3200 West just coming off 2100 South. My car was rocking and I thought something was wrong with it (I've been having some other car issues this week). I was surprised to hear it was an earthquake when I got to work.

One of my interests is earthquake activity around the world. I have feeds that give me real-time reports, from USGS, both by xml and email within moments of a quake.
Lately I have noticed that larger magnitude earthquakes are increasing. Time-wise, they are happening closer and closer together.
They're also happening in areas where they don't usually occur.
Something is brewing.

I felt it in Crescent Valley.. Knew that it would be a big one some where close.. Went thru the one in the 80's in Coalinga Calif. 6.9 i think it is better known as Parkfeild Quake that leveled Coalinga.. This one was more like rolling no jolts.
Shook things up good here..
Duane | 8:57 a.m. Feb. 21, 2008
I live in Syracuse and I noticed my blinds on my windows were swaying with the cords. We also have a hanging candle that was swaying as well. I made a comment to my wife and while we were watching the movement of the blinds we could tell the ground was moving. Not really shaking but more of a roll for about 20 seconds.
Hero of Canton | 8:57 a.m. Feb. 21, 2008
Up on the bench in Centerville I didn't feel a thing.

Good reminder to have adequate insurance and emergency supplies! (and if you live in a brick and mortar house, its a good reminder to move out and get a framed house...earthquake coverage on a brick house can run 4 times as much as your homeowners!)
Weezie | 9:02 a.m. Feb. 21, 2008
Felt it in the Rose Park area of Salt Lake.
Josie | 9:07 a.m. Feb. 21, 2008
I'm so disappointed, I didn't feel a thing. I live in Farmington, any one here feel it?
Caliente Nevada | 9:11 a.m. Feb. 21, 2008
We felt it here. For those of you in Utah it would have happened around an hour different than reported because NV is in a different time zone.
