The NBADL all star game was televised on NBA-TV, so we got to watch it. Fes and Almond really looked like they were enjoying themselves.

The Flash share out Fes's minutes with Lang. I can see why, Lang is a stud and it helps them win, but in reality, while Lang can hold is own in the NBADL, Lang is undersized for a center in the NBA. This is the DEVELOPMENT league for the NBA, and Fes isn't developing very fast while on the Flash bench, nor will he learn to stay out of foul trouble there.

I'd like to see more of Fes at Center, Lang at power forward, Jackson at small forward, Almond at shooting guard, and Kruger at point.

At any rate, the article didn't mention that Almond was also 2nd place in the NBADL's H.O.R.S.E. game.

Williams may have been an all-star if the Jazz had a better December, but who would be dropped to make room? Bryant and Iverson were voted in by the fans, Nash wouldn't be dropped, Chris Paul's team was first in the West at the time and is the host team for all star weekend.

Jazz did a good job selecting these two. I was always how bad Jazz's selections were. With Fresenko Jazz really found a big potential late in the draft.
Trade Almond? | 3:31 p.m. Feb. 17, 2008
Almond will be a great player. However I love Korver/Brewer right now because I think Korver is a better shooter and Brewer is more athletic slasher/dunker. I wonder if we could get high trade value for almond and his 50+ scoring games and secure a dominant big man.

@baskerballology

Brandon Roy should not have been an allstar.

No GM will ever trade a dominant big man for a back-up guard or a starting one for that matter uness maybe his name is Kobe.

we should trade Milsap, Okur, and AK for Dwight Howard. That gives Almond some pt and a chance for a championship now, and for years to come.

trade Miles, Collins, Hart for back up big man or just waive Collins and Hart. no trade of any Key players.

Miles is young and very athletic, why couldn't he become a backup point, with coaching

I think that Almond deserves a chance to play. The team is wasting his talents in the D-league. Give him a chance or trade him to a team that can use him so he can play now. The Jazz has too many guards.

Trade AK and play brewer as a SF.

Have you seen Almond's stats in the games he has played in the NBA? The team all but gave him every opportunity to score... still couldn't deliver. Sure, scored a bunch of points in the D-league... don't think he's better than what the Jazz have on the court now.
