All-Star weekend is by far the best "all-star" event. Its surpasses any of the other pro sports, and who wants to see memet okur? they want Vince Carter and Tracy Mcgrady lobbing the ball off the backboard to themselves, and Iverson dribbling the ball between peoples legs etc etc. The game always clamps down and gets serious in the 4th quarter and you have the best of the best going at each other... no one cares to see Ginobli going at Kobe... they want to see Kobe vs Lebron... This is probably the worst article I have read online in years.

Obviously the person that made the last comment was too afraid to post a name for the reason that he would most likely be mocked for his insane comment. I totally agree with CIRE on this one who wants to see Europeans get wasted by the Americans in an "ALL-star" event (Which if anyone outside of the nba were to play it wouldnt be an allstar event. Its all about the dunks and facials in an entertaining game of basketball. Obviously "Anonymous" has no idea what real basketball is and if he reads this i want to know what his idea (or lack thereof) of basketball is because i have no idea how the game of basketball can be better than what is being shown now in the NBA today! So what is it?

U.S.A.All Star vs World All Stars is not the way to go. Almost everybody knows or feels that the N.B.A. is a marketing product which still largely influenced by the preferences of the U.S. public or fans. If the World All Stars defeat the U.S.A. All Stars, the U.S. fans will tune it out and succeeding games will have a demoted viewership of Soccer (as the U.S fans knows it) or Football as the world knows it. The business that is called the N.B.A. will lose its catalyst and engine.

We will also promote hatred of the U.S.A. if they dominate the mational players of the other ountries. The business called N.B.A. would not want to the games to be partisan. The divide between poor loser on one side and the gloating winner on the other would only widen. Oh, oh -- world peace would suffer -- uh, uh!!!

Like I said before and like so many others before me: The all star game is bad bad bad basketball.
