D-Will outplayed Billups on Team USA last summer. Imagine him on the court the first team. If I were Colangelo, I'd bring D-Will and Paul for the big minutes and play Grandpa Kidd as a backup (and tutor). Unfortunately, Team USA is still playing by good ole boys rules instead of taking the best players.

Prediction: if the US ever lose a game, or come close to losing, it will be Carmelo's fault for forcing shots.

Why is Williams so under-rated? He is a better player than Paul by far... It is such a joke, yes boozer is a good player, but a good pg like Williams that keeps things within the offense causes ppl around him to play better. Teams shoot better when they take shots they are used to and Williams is amazing at getting the ball to players where they are comfortable.

Yes! I agree that Billups shouldn't be on Team USA and replace with Williams... Willaims obviously played better than Billups during the season too.

D-Will is a much better shooter, and slightly better passer and playmaker than either CP3 or C-Bill. He is #3 on D, however, and could improve in that area. BUT, look who the coach of the team is: Coach K. Also, the Olypmics is about skills AND image. That is Stern's job. CP3 will be on the team, no matter what, as his former coach is the boss, and the commish loves a pretty (Paul) face. U.S. Basketball unfortunately isn't JUST about skills. If it were, D-Will and CP3 would be the #1 and #2 guards. J-Kidd is not the player they are - he is simply there to represent the old guard.

the NBA players are all prima donna babies. the international players give them all and more than they can handle. the U.S. players are used to playing sloppy and not dribbling, then they cry when they get called on it>

Coach K was never Chris Paul's coach. Paul went to Wake Forest or something, but not Duke.
