I didn't know Utah had a rule like that - it's interesting. I always figured they just recruited guys who didn't go for all that stuff - I noticed arm and legbands are okay for CBooz and DWill though...
At least the Congress of the United States dosen't feel a need to hold hearings on this.
Go Ronnie!
no headbands, no rubber bands, no untucked shirts... but arm and wrist sweat bands, and leg bands have allowed for a long time on the Jazz.
Jimmy thinks Ronnie Brewer went to far. Jimmy thinks this was a statement from Brewer to Sloan. Jimmy says this is a red flag.
Ronnie T-Bone, not to worry , SlowN does'nt read the papers nor does he watch television. At least so he claims.
Johnn Deere's are his claim to fame. Some little bit!
Is it really a big deal what Ronnie B was wearing? I think what was a big deal is that Brewer looked pretty impressive to me.Especially that last dunk he had when he facialized 2 i repear TWO rooks. That was sweet and its about time that the Jazz have an extremely athletic player that doesn't have a bad attitude (Stevenson) and is ready to be a role player. His defense has been very refreshing on a team that sometimes lacks any defense. Go Ronnie B and keep the roll goin Jazz!
WHY DOES UTAH CARE? IT IS TOO BAD DWILL IS NOT AN ALL STAR. THEY SHOULD HAVE LET KOBE OPT OUT. THIS SHOULD BE A GOOD ALL STAR WEEKEND. BOOZER FOR MVP.
Remember when Karl Malone wore those shoes that light up when you run like my 2 year old daughters? That was halarious, they wouldn't let him do it in the regular season though. It's an all-star/rookie - Soph game. Sloan won't care and probably won't even know unless someone tells him.
Yeah, light-up shoes like that would have been icing on the cake here.
kobe bryant shouldnt play in the all star game. they should let williams take his place and see what potentiall he really has. no one will ever notice him uless he has a chance to prove himself, thats the problem though. nobody has even bothered to give him a chance. another thing, why the heck is david west in the all star game?!?!?!?! you will never see him in another all star game besides this one. they only chose him because CP3 doesnt want to be the lone hornet on his home court. Boozer is gonna win MVP for this game.
Why on earth is this even on the news?
Why ask why? Why on earth did you even read it - if you don't care?
If you are a true Jazz fan you should know that Sloan obviously doesn't allow his players to do the head band and wrist band things, and you should probably understand WHY. It unifies the team. It might seem tacky and harmless, but everyone should be on the same page, that includes appearance, just like at a job. One guy can't wear a suit and a headband while everyone else is in a suit. And I don't think Sloan cares about Brewer wearing a head band in this game because it's an exhibition game at the all star festivities, and other players were wearing them too, so what would it hurt for Brewer to put one on?
Ronnie thinks that he should be a top candidate for Most Improved Player of the Year. Ronnie will miss his headband.
Anytime anyone who makes beer does anything in Utah, it is a bold statement.
Oh, wait. Wrong kind of brewer.
Now when you guys are saying that you mean the little bands like the livestrong bands. I am sure I remember Karl wearing huge wristbands to protect his wrists when he dunked.
