How dose one bury some one that they Love, With respect, the same you would bury your wife, husband, or children, even a friend or stranger. The body returns to the earth were our bodies came from. for we were created from the dust of the earth. And dust we shell return to.

Professor Flake, a practicing Latter-Day Saint, put into words - the feelings and sentiments that are shared by her Mormon brothers and sisters around the world. Well done.

My wife and I express our gratitude for this kind, insightful, and well writen article about How to Bury a Prophet. As active members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints we were touched by the sensitivity of the writer. The press, as of late, has been very bitter, negative, and ugly in their treatment of the "Mormon" faith that it is so refreshing to read something that showed respect. It has been interesting to note that deference has been given to all religions, but not to the Latter-day Saints. It appears that in the mind of many they feel they can disaparage those who belong to our faith and say whatever they want whether it be true or not. Or even say things that may be true but in a way making it sound silly, stupid, or foolish. So Again, thank you for a very lovely article.

Is Dr. Flake LDS? I'm not sure she is. Anyone know for sure?

What a great article about a great man. Dr. Flake has insight into the church, and so beautifully puts it out to workd so they understand. It is my understanding that she is not a member of the church, but she has my admiration and respect, may God Bless her in all she does.

"Is Dr. Flake LDS? I'm not sure she is. Anyone know for sure?"

According to the enlarged notes at the head of her article, Dr Flake is a practising Latter-day Saint. I found her insight most helpful and interesting.
