what?

145 years after the emancipation proclamation and there is no law like this yet on our state's books? It's long overdue.

Human Trafficking is an abomination against God and man. First of all, we must stop referring to it as human trafficking because that expression does not correctly identify the nature of this "business" which is quite plainly: slavery! I recently read an excellent book about this very topic called Modern Day Slavery Human Trafficking Revealed. It really opened my eyes to the horrendous nature of today's slavery. I had no idea that so much slavery existed all round the world; I also did not know all professions which used people as slaves. For instance, I knew about sex slavery, slaves in the mines, and fishing villages. But I did not know about child camel jockeys.

But modern day slavery isn't just about child sex trafficking; men and women are forced to live their lives enslaved. They are beaten and tortured, they are forced to work without pay, and they have had their lives stolen from them.

I recently joined an online task force called F.I.G.H.T. Task Force which meets once a month on the internet. I learned about the task force in that book my friend sent me. Spread the word - talk about it with your friends and family.
