I went to the Trolley Square Mall today, on the anniversary of the terrible shooting. There were ads posted for a sale, and I am sure the company didn't realize it may come accross as something negative, but the signs said: "Hit the bricks and shop til you drop!" I even took a picture on my cam phone I could forward along. But I am sure the signs are still up.
when i attended Kirsten Hinkleys funeral last year, her brother spoke and listed some things that his baby sister would never be able to do. She'll never get a drivers license, go to prom, walk at graduation with her class, choose a college, fall in love and get married, or become a mother aunt or grandmother. so hyrum, you are so very right. because if that isnt drama - then what is? i hope that one day, you'll love someone enough that you would do anything for them, and you couldnt contemplate life without them. then maybe you'll be able comprehend how disgusting your acting, and seak us all out to apologize for being so cruel.
God bless everyone who has been affected by this great tragedy. And to the families our hearts and prayers are with you.

I didn't check but I hope they took the signs down with the add. It was a heavy feeling there, and quite empty on the anniversary of the shooting. It is so sad that someone can be so selfish to do such a thing and hurt so many lives.
I lived in Salt Lake City for a number of years before we moved and never remember anything like this before. We lived in Georgia and it did happen there but it's just sad people can't live together in piece and get the help they need.
