A day earlier, JM told everyone he's a seasoned politician who knows exactly how to bring the party together and that there is nothing to worry about. His tone was such that he seemed to be so full of himself that he can just presume that conservatives will rally around his glorious person. There's no compromise or giving on his part. He is always right, not the conservatives. So he just wants all the conservatives to be the ones to come over to his side and the result will be a unified party. I have news for John McCain. Many conservatives will still vote, and it will be for someone else because JM is not representative of many in the Republican Party. It looks like the Dems have it this election.

John McCain. President. Saying that even up to 100 more years in Iraq for our brave soliders would be ok. John McCain. President. He told us he did not understand economics. As we slide into a recession this is good to know. John McCain. President. Colleagues call him "flinty" and "tempermental.

Pig in a poke come to mind? Fortunately, as my sister used to preach, this dog won't hunt. Not elected in November. Thank goodness. The shadow knows.

The Republican campaign is just going through the motions. It's the best time of all for McCain to win because Republicans don't have a prayer this November. McCain is Bob Dole, not Ronald Reagan. Give McCain the nomination and get him out of the way for any future considerations.

You know who's to blame for this? Open primarys and liberal Republicans.

From the beginning, Sam Brownback and Duncan Hunter have wanred about Mitt Romney. Mitt Romney comes from a family of liberal politicians. His father walked out on Barry Goldwater's convention speech. Mitt Romney, in turn, legislated gay civil unions and raised the capital gains tax.

John McCain has always had a love affair with socialism. He opposed the Bush tax-cuts and sponsered McCain-Fiengold.

The conservative choices in this primary was Fred Thompson and Mike Huckabee.

So, a vote for Mitt Romney is a vote for John McCain. A vote for John McCain is a vote Stalin and Chairman Mao.

Mike Huckabee was the only conservative choice in Tuesday election. Utah threw away the their vote on two liberal candidates.

See, I told you so! Mitt Romney and John McCain are liberals and Mike Huckabee is not. The GOP is simply the liberal party.

Way too much hatred here this morning. McCain liberal Conservative? Labels, labels, labels. I have them in my clothing, my shoes, and even on my bananas.

Quit labeling, and start discussing. Logic, inference, implications, authorities, etc. etc.

Labels are for clothes, not candidates --- for the best job in the world: President of the USA/

We can still vote for a man that will change the country for the better. Please don't vote for the lesser of two evils, we always lose that way. PLEASE VOTE FOR RON PAUL!!!

Okay, I finally checked his website, and he says the right things. Unfortunately the candidates who say the right things don't get elected. The country would benefit if his positions, which really are more practical than unique, were implemented.

ron paul cant acomplish anything without a libertarian congress. not going to happen. Mccain can only help himself by picking a good vice president and huck is not it, that ticket would lose every state except arizona. even the clintons would take arkansas. rudy? that may win a few more states. or maybee he will risk it by getting lieberman, kennedy, or his good friend kerry, who knows who cares mccain isnt electable, so its write in for pride or pick the other side.

McCain won't be able to unify the "Republican" party. Most conservatives will not vote for him. It looks like the RNC supported the wrong candidates and it's coming back to bite them. With John McCain as the Republican nominee, he might as well stop campaigning now and save a lot of money. He won't win in November. I an many, many others will NOT vote for him.
