I'm a new fan of theirs, having just discovered them a month or so ago on New Year's Eve when they were on TV. Since then I quickly bought their CD (the Bonus Jonas edition) and wanted to buy a ticket to this concert, but I didn't as with all this snow we've been having I didn't want to risk having to drive clear to the E-Center and back in the middle of a storm. But wouldn't you know it... the storms are over for a few days and it's nice weather today/tonight. Crap! Oh well, there's always the next time they come I suppose.
I might have been one of only a handfull of non-female fans there if I had gone, plus I'm an adult and not a teen. I wonder how many other male and/or adult fans they have?
GO JONAS!!!! The TOTALLY deserve all of their fame and I am so happy to see them being recognized for it!!!!!
Im a huge fan of their music andn im an old soul well thats what my mom calls me and i think that the have that beegees sound it like u hear it and you just can t help but tap ur feet along with the beat and I agree with the other girls they deserve every bit of fame they have i think they are amazing artist and hopfully they will last a long time!!
Hey Steve, I am adult fan of theirs but kind of by default. I have two teen daughters who love them and so I've heard their music over the past 2 years, and I love it! But most of all I like who they are as human beings and how their parents raised them. With all of Britney, Lindsey and celebs entering rehab stories, it's nice to learn about these young men who are so talented and on the straight and narrow. I really hope they stay that way!
They are so much better live than on the album. I LOVE THE JONAS BROTHERS!!!!
The Jonas Brothers surely are amazing role models. Their music is also amazing and I can't wait for their newest CD to be released. I have actually gone to one of their concerts in Toronto, it was the Best of Both Worlds concert, it was so much fun! They are an incredible bunch of boys and I wish them the best of luck in their future endeavours.
Hey Steve,
I am also an adult fan. I'm 32 and I love the Jonas Brothers. I have been a fan since the beginning. And, I even got my mom (59) and several of my friends at work (in their mid to late 20's and 60's)into them. Like Liz, I like them because of the entire package. Their music is fabulous but I also love who they are as people and what they stand for. Their parents definitely have raised them well and their character shines through in everything they do. I just went to their concert Feb 6th in Portland. Their performance was spectacular!!! Definitely worth the seven hours I had to wait at the box office for tickets. Love these boys and I wish them all the best in everything they pursue.
Hey I just wanted to say I am also an adult fan. I agree with everything Liz & Melissa above said. I have been to one previous concert and was willing to stand in the cold & rain to make sure we got good seats for this new tour. I believe I am as excited to see them again as my daughter and her friends. I believe they have a long and promising future ahead of them and I look forward to many years of enjoying them myself along with my daughter. Best of luck to the whole Jonas family in all their future endeavours.
Wow! I am so excited to find other adult fans! I wondered if I was the only one! I have a 10 yr old daughter and she got me absolutely hooked on Jonas Brothers. We went to see them perform with Hannah Montana and also Friday at the E-center. It was fabulous and so fun! I wondered if I was the only Mom jumping and screaming with her daughter! I had a blast! I also (amazingly)won meet and greet passes on the radio. I totally wanted to go with my daughter but let her friend go instead. She said Kevin was so friendly and sweet. He bent down to tie the shoe of a boy in front of my daughter. She said it was the best night of her life. I love that they wear purity rings and that this album is so clean! I just am a little disappointed with a couple new songs, "Burning up" and "Pushing me away." I looked up the lyrics and they sounded ever so slightly sexual. What are your opinions? I would be interested to know. I had hoped the next albut would be just as squeaky clean. Stil love em though!
