A 2 game winning streak? You've got to be kidding me! Did the coaches fail to mention the 10 game + losing streak before that? Did they mention those teams they beat were cellar dwellars? Wow, USU does need all new coaches. I cannot believe statements like that!

"(We pointed out to kids) we weren't able to finish it because we were lacking them and this class coming in," Robinson said. "The recruits were able to see that we're very close and we're on the cusp of some great things here. It was a great momentum boost for us, and it fired up the coaches to go out on the road as well."

If only Aggie fans would realize this instead of calling for the head of Coach Guy...

The Aggies had a longer win streak to end the year than either team in the national championship game !!!!

It's called recruiting | 11:44 a.m. Feb. 7, 2008
Dude, it's called recruiting. You tell players everything positive that you can about your program and give them reasons why they should come to your school. Coaches have to sell players on themselves and the school. How else is USU supposed to improve? Tell everyone that we stink and shouldn't try anymore? No!

I hate to beat a dead cow, but really, How can your class be rated either #116 or #117 out of 119 and you call the group great? The ranking may be flawed, yet Utah State has never been out of the 100 and teens and they have never won more than 2 games a year with Brent Guy. That seems to indicate some relevance. Seriously, how can a staff keep their jobs with on-field results like this? I hope the next athletic director has the human equivalent of Rocky Mountain Oysters.

INSANITY- The definition is to do the same thing over and over again and expect different results. Imagine the aggie staff signing 80% of the class from California. Signing recruits that are the third or fourth choice on the big schools list does not create a winning program. How many new season tickets will be sold to people wanting to watch out of state kids play for one of the worst programs in the country. The coaches should consider more in state athletes that will give back to the program after graduation. There are a lot of kids not being recruited by BYU or Utah along the wasatch front that wiould fill the seats and be proud to be aggies. There are 3 I know that attended Aggie camp last summer that would love to be aggies, but were not given a good look. Two of those are going to play football in Virginia. I hope someday I can be proud to be an aggie grad during football season, but that is not likely any time soon. Winning 2 games with in state kids who would be aggies forever seems like a much better idea.
