This is one amazing athlete! I remember his brothers being very competitive and always being great in sports also. I will never forget how stunned and amazed I was how far he can kick a football. Especially since the last time I saw him he was just a wee lad. Now he is a giant! He also comes from a great family full of success. I grew up across the street and have nothing but respect for Justin and his family and wish them all the best. I come from a U of U family but will really like to see the Y win as much as possible next year.

I've never seen Sorenson play. Everyone says he has a canon for a leg. What about his accuracy? It's going to be fun watching kickoffs go deep into or out of the end zone. A team starting on the 20 will have a harder time scoring.

Sorenson will definitely have an immediate impact. On the recruiting side Bronco covers the the star deal up quite nicely, but no matter what he does say about it loseing Kavienga and Stevens hurts. Both highly recruited LDS players. The fact remains is they were lured by the BCS schools because of exposure, And a BCS bowl game. We are muddled in the mountain West, with a lousey TV deal where most of us locally can't even view the games let alone those out of state fans. Until we get out or change the TV deal to a national TV deal expect much the same in future years recruiting for the elite recruits.

I think the star system is pretty much a joke. A few of these players were 3-4 star recruits early on. But many committed early, and when they weren't being recruited, their stars seemed to start falling. Holt was being talked about as the best TE in the west, and now you can barely see him at the bottom of a top 100 list, if that. Same with Sorenson, probably the best kicker in the nation, yet rivals and scout don't even rank him in the top 5. Forget the stars, BYU has a great class.
