It will be facinating to see by what kind of unreasonable margin Romney wins by.

Go Obama!
Higher than 94% | 9:15 p.m. Feb. 5, 2008
In Nevada, 94% of the LDS votes went to Romney.

That's OK, though.

North Dakota came on board for romney, too. Weren't there other states voting today, as well?
Anyway, I was listening to BBC tonight; they suggested that talk radio rhetoric wasn't coming thorough as support for mitt.
It will be interesting, as noted, to see the lopsided margin of people in Utah who voted for the right candidate for the job, and how many, or few in this case, bigots voted for someone else.

I was nervous when I saw Hillary winning at first. I didn't go out and vote; I thought he'd be a shoo-in.
GO OBAMA | 9:54 p.m. Feb. 5, 2008
I'm a proud MORMON for OBAMA!!
shadow | 10:02 p.m. Feb. 5, 2008
Emerging from the shadows is the fact of John's steely-eyed pragmatism! Go John Go! You are our best hope for November.

Red | 10:20 p.m. Feb. 5, 2008
I've always voted Republican, but if it is a Huckabee/Obama race, I'll vote Obama. Nothing could make me vote for Huckabee or Clinton. I don't think I'm alone either. Huckabee could turn this red state blue. Wouldn't that be a shock!
GOP for Obama | 10:25 p.m. Feb. 5, 2008
Never mind November at this point, we need Hillary out of this race. She's not qualified and she's dangerous. If we must have a Dem as Pres, would much prefer Obama, warts and all, over the cunning Clinton.
HELLCK YEAH | 10:23 p.m. Feb. 5, 2008
VERY proud member of the BYU Democrats!!! YEAH OBAMA!!!
Mormons for Obama Unite | 10:40 p.m. Feb. 5, 2008
I had Mitt Romney as my number one choice, but Obama has always been my second choice. Romney's out so GOOOO OBAMA!!!!!!!!
p.s. Dang Californians voting for HillBill.
Is it ethical | 10:55 p.m. Feb. 5, 2008
The thing that happened in West Virginia seems despicable, where the camps of McCain and Huckabee talked the McCain delegates into changing their alliance to Huckabee since McCain was so far behind there. The reason admittedly was to stop Romney from winning, but I guess it is legal. With so many admitting they are set on keeping a Mormon out of office, I have to stop and think why I despise McCain and Huckabee so. Is it because of their religion? Of course not. No, I don't have to think long on this one. It is because they are ground crawlers. I will have to write in Romney I guess.

I am tired of the GOP thinking they have the right to take Utah for Granted. I will not vote for McCain or Huckabee under any circumstance. So I hope the rest of America pulls their head out from whatever ozone layer they are lost in. I have never voted anything than Republican for President but there is a first time for everything. Though Mitt is my first choice for a number of reasons least of all religion. I would not vote Harry Reid for Dog catcher. At least Barack Obama supported Hatch on legislation that protects tithing in bankruptcies laws.

Go Obama! He's the O-BOMB-a.....get it? The bomb? Obama? O-"bomb-a? Oh?
Bye Bye Mitt. | 11:21 p.m. Feb. 5, 2008
Romney lies about everything.
He watched his daddy march with King when he didn't march.
He's the lifelong hunter who never hunts.
He's the abortion rights supporter who was never pro-choice.
He's the illegal alien fighter who employs illegal aliens.
He's been on every side of every damn issue, and shrieks like an outraged dowager when he's confronted with the video evidence of the forcefully stated, completely false position he intoned yesterday.
Not only would I never trust this man, I would never trust anyone who ever trusted him. They all have a flashing neon sign over their heads that screams, "Ulterior Motives!"

There's a reason why even the Republican candidates all hate Romney.

Now can you all just go back to whatever it was you did before Mitty whipped you into a froth!

Huckabee calls himself a righteous man which is a farce. He has been such a mudslinger. This Reverand, (who made himself reverand) forgot the golden rule. What a disappointment...no wonder people get discouraged with religion. He sure does not practice what he teaches on Sunday.
Long time Republican | 11:42 p.m. Feb. 5, 2008
If Huckabee is on ANY ticket, I will (for the first time) vote democrat in a presidential election.

His repeated attacks on my religion have ensured that I will not vote for him under any circumstances.

I will vote for Obama or Clinton over any ticket with Huckabee on it.
Rombot. Not. | 11:38 p.m. Feb. 5, 2008
Does Mitty's loss mean the constitution really isn't "hanging by a thread?"
No lemming here | 11:55 p.m. Feb. 5, 2008
No, the Utah lemmings will vote for whoever has that R next to their name. It must be instinctual in Utahns.

As for myself -- go Obama!!
Nothing to do with LDS Church | 11:59 p.m. Feb. 5, 2008
90% of Utah Republicans voted for Mitt Romney while only 5% voted for John McCain. In Utah County Mitt Romney won with 94% of the vote or 48,399 voters while John McCain only picked up 6% or 1,731 voters in Utah County. Utah Republicans should be proud of voting for an inexperienced candidate who lacks the character to be President. Romney's lies and lack of character was clear to the rest of the nation but Utah Republicans chose to ignore his lack of integrity and character while everyone else saw him for what he was.

I suspect that many people will take to make the Utah results about the LDS Church but it doesn't have to do with the Church. The actions of men like Mit Romney, even if they are Mormons, doesn't reflect upon the Church. I ask the rest of the nation to bear in mind that these people do not represent the LDS Church, its members or our leaders instead there are bad people in every Church. The decision of LDS Republicans to vote for someone like Romney doesn't reflect on the Church itself.

Yo Rombot, The constitution has been "hanging by a thread" for years. But, I get your meaning. Nice cheap shot. See ya at church on Sunday.

I'm LDS, from Utah, and currently going to BYU-Idaho, and I'm a proud moderate, registered as unafiliated. On the other hand though I voted by absentee ballot for Edwards before he dropped out, so my vote was pointless.
