Every poll taken shows that McCain will lose to any democrat. I don't know what he is smoking. I guess you just say it and hope it comes true. Kind of like how he dis'd Mitt on the Iraq war statement. Just say it, and say it with gusto, and hope no one looks at the film That John guy is tricky.

"Change" is the operative word this year and McCain looks like yesterday, well, yesterday a few years ago. He will try to morph, he will try to look young, he will only show the one side of his fact to the camera, he will restrict his public appearances while the sun tan machine works him over, etc. But "change" is a democrat word and change is in the air.

GOPers can thank George W. for this. People know that we are in a very very deep hole and that the people who put us in the hole are not the people to trust to get us out of the hole. For example, huge debt. So George W. recommends a $400 deficit budget. Tax cuts. Good grief!!!

Based on McCain's record, I'd say he is telling the truth (for once). He's certainly voted with the Democrats enough times to show that he is more at home on their side of the aisle.
As AZ's Senator, he certainly hasn't done much for our state.

McCain can work better with Democrats because he IS one.

Politics at its finest... | 11:40 p.m. Feb. 5, 2008
I'm pretty discouraged by what took place today. I don't think McCain is the leader he thinks he is and is a horrible candidate for the Presidency. As a young Republican, I have a very hard time backing McCain. As I watched him throughout the last few years, I remember feeling digusted that he was a member of the Republican party after many of the liberal bills he authored. He claims now to be the "conservative" in the race? These are truly sad days.

It's not what I do, but what I say. I am so disgusted by politics and the corrupt men and women who sell their souls for the office. I'm done.

Obviously McCain can work great with Democrats. The problem is he's the least likely to work well with Republicans, especially conservative ones.
