Wait and see is all that can be said about upcoming vacations in the future. Many of these exotic vactions are credit fundeded and done on credit cards that are yet to colapse as the american people try to climb out of the hole created by too much credit. Local short vacations are more likely and the travel industry will take its share of hits and losses in the coming year. They better plan for the worst and hope for it to be better, they will be as much a victim of the economic crisis whether they like it or not. The dependence on credit to operate an economy is proving to be castrophic and not reliable. The foreclosure on debts hasen't even begun with the credit card industry, the next victim of a cashless society.

With all the terror, war, and recession going on in the world today, I don't know how anyone would be arrogant enough to take a vacation this year. We should be saving our money instead of taking expensive trips. Until things start looking up, we should save instead of spend and stay home instead of traveling.
