Romney wins Utah, Mass., but suffers series of Super Tuesday losses

I'm a Democrat so I don't really care who wins the Republican nomination but I believe that Republican voters deserve the right to a say in the nomineee instead of being forced to say "I want neither but I choose Romney" or "McCain."
Furthermore, Romney's comments were rude, arrogant and repugnant. I would have hoped that his being Mormon would make him a good person but that's been demonstrated to be false. I'm just glad that he isn't a member of my Ward so I don't have to see him lie in Church on Sunday and show how horrible he is on Tuesday.
McCain-Kennedy: Also referred to as Amnesty for Illegal Aliens, The Sellout of America or Leave No Illegal Alien Behind Bill.
McCain-Feingold: This is perhaps one of the more left-wing acts of Congress in the past twenty years. This is an attempt to silence conservatives and poses blatant restrictions on political speech.
McCain-Lieberman: A gun control bill that places restrictions on the 2nd Amendment.
In 2005 McCain opposed a federal gay-marriage ban (Los Angeles Times, 1/25/ and 3/8).
Senate minority leader Tom Daschle (Democrat) admitted that he was approached by McCains people and that he and McCain engaged in serious conversations about McCain joining the Democratic Party in 2001.
On the economy, McCain is the epitome of incompetence! He makes Miss Teen South Carolina look intelligent. He actually said that cutting interest rates to 0 is a good thing. Talk about clueless!
McCain is a liberal! Regards, Hillary
Dear John does quite a good job of that himself climbing aboard a jackass with other liberals while tells the republican elephant it's going to get thrown a bag of peanuts every now and then if it changes it's conservative ways.
If McCain is a conservative then I'm a Laker fan eating cake.
That is why we see McCain emerging as the Republican nominee. America has seen what Romney is about, and the majority don't like him.
When I last saw Romney and McCain, I saw the same behavior. When McCain spoke, Romney turned in his chair to comfortably face and listen. When Romney spoke, McCain kept his head down doing his notes, as Gore had.
What does this mean? A statesman has to always be respectful of the speaker, whether it be a senator or King.
Romney showed me that, McCain did not. When the final Dem and Rep debate later this year, I will be watching to see if my "rule" will predict for a third time!
ROMNEY IN 2012!
Dirty secret #1: The U.S. military already has a timeline and benchmarks in place.
Dirty secret #2: McCain said the same thing early in 2007 (search the Arizona Star newspaper). He said our benchmarks would have to be specific and then said "If the Iraqi government hasn't met the benchmarks then obviously we can't complete the mission and we'll have to re-evaluate our position".
Dirty secret #3: McCain didn't tell America that in the same Romney interview that McCain was harping about, Romney was also asked that if he were President would he (Romney) veto a bill containing an absolute "get out of Iraq" date and ROMNEY SAID YES!!!
Dirty secret #4: McCain intentionally misrepresented Romney in the recent CA GOP debate (watch it on u-Tube) on Romney's MA health-care plan, his increased state fees and on the MA economy. All 3 easily refuted by Romney and NOBODY is saying Romney's answers were incorrect.
Quite frankly, America, McCain's too dishonest and angry to be a decent leader. Vote smart! Go Mitt!
Fellow senators and independent political scientists said McCain's thinking reflected growing concerns within the Republican Party about the course of the war, and also might mark a turning point for the likely 2008 presidential contender, whose previous unconditional backing of the war may have hurt his prospects. McCain said Thursday that he hadn't yet decided on precise BENCHMARKS. "They'd have to be specific, and they (Iraqi government officials) would have to meet them," he said.
Asked what penalty would be imposed if Iraq failed to meet HIS BENCHMARKS, he said: "I think everybody knows the consequences. Haven't met the BENCHMARKS? Obviously, then, we're not able to complete the mission. Then you have to examine your options."
Yep, folks, that your beloved McCain. Attacking Romney for saying the same thing that he said. Can you say "h-y-p-o-c-r-i-t"? And....by intentionally misrepresenting Romney you can add "liar" on to that as well. It's all in front of you, fellow voters. What will you do now?
I don't believe that Utah is voting because of Romney because of his religion. I'm going out on a limb to give them more credit than that. If they are, I think they are getting the right vote, but I would hope that they have taken the time to see for themselves that McCain is NOT the most qualified. His experience is all summed up by what "wake up conservatives" said. He is a liberal. I agree with the fact that you cannot ethically vote for McCain. We know that Romney has what it takes to be President. McCain's only strength is the war, and knowing that it will only make things worse to pull the troops out. Troop pulling is a democratic strategy and quite brainless if you ask me. Romney is strong in that sense, too; as well as economy and immigration. Vote Romney because he has what it takes, not just because of his religion.
1. They are hateful. I've seen article after article where they attack everything and everyone that is not Romney. And they generally don't attack based on issues, they PERSONALLY attack. I've always believed that Mormons don't like anyone that is not them...this campaign process has certainly proven that point.
2. Romney's Utah supporters have hyperactive persecution complex. Again, I've seen article after article where reasons are given for disliking Romney without ANY mention of religion. Yet those commenters are attacked and called bigots. I've even seen many many comments that say things like "The Lord's chosen have always been persecuted." Please, spare us.
I really have always thought Mormons were lovable people who lived their lives with compassion. This campaign season has DEFINITELY proved me wrong.

McCain is a warmonger. Why is it that he can't give credit to business people and people that make payroll. They are the ones that have to pay taxes and those taxes go to McCain's paycheck. Which I'm sure he's not willing to give up as Romney did in Mass as gov. and as he's said he'd do as Pres. You don't have to be a soldier to be an American hero. I can't support McCain. If Romney isn't nominated I'll sit out for 4 years until there is a canidate I can support. Romney stick with it you'll take the nomination, all you need is a little more time.
Congrats in advance for the CALI WIN. Romney '08 or nothing.
