I found this article most informative, providing me with much new information and perspective of our new Prophet. He has always been a favorite of mine when conference came and I relished the opportunity to hear him express the Gospel in a manner that has always been clear and understandable for all, as well as entertaining to the listener. Thanks for the great article and the addtional insights into President Thomas S. Monson's personal life. Most excellent article and man of God!!

Sounds like a very wonderful boyhood and family life..too bad it has been spent apart from the only true Word of God, missing out on the only Truth..Jesus.

"We thank thee... for a Prophet". It is comforting and reassuring to have a man like President Monson willing and able to become our prophet. He too is one of my favorite speakers. I enjoy his experiences that he tells to bring out certain gospel subjects. He is sincere & the world is blessed to have him as our prophet. Thank you President Monson. We love you.

President Monson is a pillar and tower of light,
virture and strength, like past Presidents and
Presiding High Priests of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. The Lord has divinely
chosen him to preside over his brethern and the church. He is the Presiding High Priest and holds his office in trust for the Holy One of Israel.
We need to emulate, follow and listen to his words,
but feel at peace if we do not always measure up
to our Prophet, because he is our exemplar to strive to become for he walks ahead of us in the Masters footsteps! The stewardship of Office is well-cared for by President Monson and may he live long and continue to bless and prosper the Church of Jesus Christ in these Latter Days! President Monson, also, honors, Our Master and Sovereigns, prime minister, our beloved prophet Joseph Smith!President Monson's life, times and example bring honor to the Savior and Praise to the Memory of the prophet Joseph!
