I look forward to seeing what steps of openness and progression the church leadership will take to bring the church structure out of the age of the agrarian society to the international intercommunication web of today and the future. The cost of the growth of the LDS church has largely been borne on the backs of the legacy US membership. It will be interesting to see if/ how they are are able to support the infrastructure as the dollar continues to weaken and recessionary pressures grow. Should be a very interesting case study of culture and leadership.
is going to be possible? | 1:33 p.m. Feb. 28, 2008
Finally they going to recognize the church is more than the perfects families and perfects white members, to accept that inside the church are beatifull people only different because they are gay.

I've been a member of this Church since May of 1966. As a resident of The Netherlands I've been blessed to frequently be able to act as an interpreter for visiting general authotities. Elder Monson, now the President of this Church, has been one for whom I've had the privilege to translate. I've always been impressed with the spirituality of his talks and presentations and have always felt the strong Spirit of the Lord being present.
Of course I expected him to succeed Pres. Hinckley. And I'm very excited and deeply impressed that Pres. Monson elected Pres. Dieter Uchtdorf, being a native continental European, as a counselor in the FP together with Pres. Eyring.

I grew up baptized in the church and President Monson was one of my favorite 12. i loved them all but his spirit moved me. although no longer a member, i believe he will guide the church with spirit, love, compassion, zeal. i somehow knew that he would lead the church some day no matter for how long.
May the LORD bless all the counsel and leaders in moving the church forward.

anyone who accepts God is a person. And recognizes Joseph smith as a true prophet. Is a false prophet and knows not the things of God.John 4:24 God is Spirit.spirit is the same as wisdom is spirit.Spirit is not organic matter.1 John4:12 .No one has seen God at any time.

I'm a 16 year old priest of the church of jesus christ of latter day saints. I advice every young men to find out for themself if Thomas S. Monson is a prophet of god. I personally know he is! Everytime he speaks my testimony a warm feeling of gratitude and love comes over me. His stories are overwhelming they have helped me so much in my life. I love him dearly and am so grateful the lord guides us in these latter days. I know Thomas S. Monson is inspired by the lord.
