The Utes played a fairly good game against a decimated team, but I guess a win is a win. Point is has I've said all along give guard Carlon Brown an opportunity and he will perform. I know Boylen is not terribly impressed because he is a freshman and insist on referrencing how good Drca is. Don't get me wrong I'm not Knockding the young man, but to me he is turnover prone and I believe Brown is a much better ball handler and creator. Time will tell, "the cream always rises to the top." Great win for the Utes none the less. It will be a lot tougher against UNLV. Go Utes.

WOW!!! 33 points in the first half of a 20 minute half - there is still some faint hope that the "Runnin' Utes" can come back and be worthy of the name. Get that up to 45 or more points in a half and then we can leave "Runnin' Utes" on the jersey...

Wow Utah you beat the worst team in the MWC! Congratulations!

This was a breakout game, a road win over an upset-minded Rams team. Were it not for a little bad luck and bad ref calls, our Utes would have clubbed byu. I see post-season play for the mighty Utes.

"I said before the game to my assistants, somebody's going to have to step up for us to beat this team," Boylen said.

--It's great that the coach came up with a strategy to beat the worst team in the MWC...

(Sorta like "Someones gotta do it because I haven't got a clue???")

Hey, I wonder how many of the Wyoming Basketball players were at the Cowboy - Ute football game in Laramie?

I wonder if Boylen's L shouldn't be given to Kyle for motivating the "Poke" players???

i know that utah beat the worst team in the mt. west and it reminded me when utah killed usu at the beginning of the year. the utes is getting better and will do great as time goes on. GO UTES!!!

Regarding "I see post season play for the mighty Utes." You must be referring to the "mighty" Utes going to the "mighty" NIT. There is no way we will beat UNLV and the conference or should I say UNLV tourneyment. And with our terrible record, there is no way we are an at large bit. If you are excited about the NIT, then fine.

In answer to your question, "Hey, I wonder how many of the Wyo BBall players were at the Cowboy-Ute football game in Laramie?" Probably none since the game was at REC! Make no excuses about the BBall loss to Wyo, we are the terrible team who deserved to lose that game.
Excited about this win? | 12:49 p.m. Feb. 4, 2008
How can anyone be excited about this win. A Colorado State team that lost to Pan Handle State? Their 6-15 record includes wins over powerhouses like Tennessee St, Portland St, Ark-Pine Bluff, Denver and Western St? It is a sad day in the Ute program when we get excited about a win like this!

Not excited at all about this win, since Colorado State just lost by 40 to New Mexico.
