It's a proven clean and safe viable alternative energy source. We need all the domestic clean energy sources now more than ever.

if global warming is caused by man then we have to use as much non-fossil fuels energy sources as we can, nuclear fits this need. you cannot meet high peak demand reliably and economically with wind, solar or hydro, nukes are cleaner than any other high-output power source.
