He has 'gone home' Service full of fond memories

The real emotional clincher for me was at the end of the funeral while the the Mormon Tabernacle Choir sang the closing song and when while watching at home, there were video clips of many monumental events in which Pres Hinckley was involved. His happy smile and many waves and his genuine love for those he visited could be felt through the airwaves. I did not know that such events and the funeral would be so personal to me. It felt as if he could have been my grandfather.
Thank you President Hinckley for your precious example of love for the Savior and for His people. Your example has changed my life for the better and helped me realize the true mission of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Go to the Temple more often.
Prepare to go to the Temple.
Read the inspired words he left us.
Our hearts our full of deep gratitude for all who helped the beautiful service to be so wonderful. The media coverage was so appreciated.
THANK YOU!
I have loved him, and been very greatful for his love, humor and most of all the way he reached out to all people.
I will miss him, but I am greatful to have had him in my life, and to have loved him so well.
I know we will meet and enjoy each other's company again. He is our brother, just as our Savior is our brother. There are so many brothers and sisters on the other side of the veil that I can't wait to talk to!
Thank you Hinckley family for sharing you Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather with us all.
Till we meet again.
I, myself love his quote: "Keep trying. . .be believing. Be happy. Don't get discouraged. Things will work out."
(quoted by Elder Jeffrey R. Holland, Ensign, June 1995, pg. 2)
During 1997, as a student at Cypress College (Orange County, CA), one of my classmates challenged me about the Church's claim as the only true Church. Thank goodness I remembered President Hinckley's comment to others to "bring the good that you have, and we will add to it..." although my classmate didn't seem convinced, I felt it was the appropriate response that permitted our association to continue amicably.
I have viewed the video footage of President Hinckley's talk.
there he said:
" You don't look that much, but you're all the lord have."
in a videocasting a user said that was trash talk, what with it that it bacame a trashtalk?
they just did'nt know what "HUMOR" means!
