I am a 50 year old man but I cried during the funeral services. I cried because I miss him and I cried because I have not lived as good as he taught we should. But I will do better. He served his entire life for people like me. The least I can do is try to live better because of him. I surely miss him.

It was a very beautiful service and his daughters did a outstanding job for their departed father. I will always Remember the love for people that President Gordon B. Hinckley showed us by his example. His humor as well as wisdom will be dearly missed by all that he touched. I had tears in my eyes at times; especially when President Monson talked about the Prophet's doctor when referring to the proper use of his cane for walking and not waving. I will never forget our dear deceased Prophet and 15TH President Gordon B. Hinckley. Since reactivation 11 years ago he is the only prophet I've really ever known. He will always remain special to me in love and memory. May his service be a example to all.

I was baptized when Spencer W. Kimball was the prophet, and I loved him dearly. I never thought I would love another prophet quite as much, but I do, and I also miss Pres. Hinckley greatly. I will miss especially that twinkle in his eye and his delightful humor, and almost as much I will miss his great, sincere optimism. He was truly valiant in the faith, remarkably without being defensive or aggressive. I too realize I have not been the best I can be, and I hope to keep the inspiration I felt today - to do better.

Rest in Peace President Hinckley. You have touched my life in so many ways. As I watched the funeral I could not hold back the tears. I am now at peace because I know that you are at peace with your beloved companion and other family members on the other side. I will miss you, our beloved Prophet and your wonderful counsel and sense of humor. You are loved by millions of Saints all over the world and will be sorely missed.
Thank you for your life of dedicated service. For I have no doubt the Lord will say to you, "well done, thou good and faithful servant...."

When we hear of all that President Hinckley has done, and then we hear how he felt so inferior to the previous Prophets, it gave me great comfort to know that we are only to be judged by who we are. I am grateful for President Hinckley's example and love, and I look forward to growing to love and sustain President Monsen. President Monsen is such a sweet and gentle man, he is also very intelligent and I have always loved listening to him speak.

I loved our beloved Prophet and will miss him deeply. I have cried almost all day. May he rest in peace.
