Eagle Mountain is quickly being taken over by problematic people.

I find it interesting that you can make such a huge sweeping generalization about Eagle Mountain but won't sign your name to it. Eagle Mountain probably doesn't have any more police involved problems than any other city in Utah. Every city has problems!

What excuse do you have for Lehi? A man shot and killed his wife in the church parking lot, yet I didn't read any generalizations about Lehi.

Where can I contribute to this man's defense fund!? How outrageous that the police would lie to this man this way. Where is the terroristic threat? Did he say he would shoot people? The police are shockingly silent. If he was such a threat, why no details from the police? The Second Ammendment guarantees this man the right to own weapons and he does not have to tell anyone what or how many of what you have. This is criminal on the part of law enforcement. If he posed no obvious, iminent threat to anyone, they should have left him alone. The wife and kids were safe. There was no warrant and in my eyes, no probable cause for this kind of operation. Having myself been a victim of police abuse of authority in EM, it doesn't surprise me in the least. Shame on the Utah Co. Sheriff. I want to pitch in to get this guy off.

Unless he was threatening to shoot people, he should have been left alone. The family could have gone to a shelter for 24 hours and been safe. If he has had violent problems in the past I can see concern not a swat team. To turn the whole area into a lock down is overreacting. If they wanted to arrest him on domestic violence and he resisted arrest by staying in his house, they could have a good reason for the swat team but not because he refused to talk to them.
