now i can buy some extra material for the class room which the state won't buy!
The Legislature promised the money and made good on that promise. Despite what the media says we appreciate the honest hard work they make on behalf of the teachers and citizens of this state.
Thank you for delivering on the salary increases!!
yeah right a pay raise! My mom has been teaching here for 20 years and she always says, "take a look at my stub" never been a pay raise when promised.
So what does Granite have planned? Anything?
Thank you for getting this straightened out. The legislature seems to be on the right track these last couple of years.
Thank you for your work. Any amount of raise will help me support my family.
Thank you for the help. We are grateful that we dont have to rely solely on my wife/teacher's salary, but we are concerned for those that do. Hope the districts pass the raise through in its entirety instead of keeping part for "administrative" expenses as happened before with Jordan District. Teachers give so much already, let them (the teachers) have their whole raise!
They need to make teaching a more flexible job. If I were able to teach part time then I would actually be teaching. Teaching is a lot of work and a little too much for those of us that are trying to have families.
