I was so impressed with Glenn Beck's heartfelt thoughts about the passing of Gordon B. Hinckley. I am certain that in media circles it is a risky thing to be so open with your feelings and your faith. Way to go Glenn!! Proof that President Hinckley brought out the best in everyone.

Wow, it was hard to watch this without choking up.
What a lovely tribute by Glenn Beck to a man who who brought him to his Savior and was instrumental in bringing about his amazing transformation. He was changed from an angry young man to a man who lives in daily gratitude. Though he never met President Gordon B. Hinckley, he was changed by him.
And I believe millions of people worldwide will continue to be changed by him.

Words can't describe the feelings I have about the MAN who just left us to attend to his Savior's call and also to say "Hello Again" to his sweet wife, Marjorie. May God bless EVERYONE with the wisdom and ability to be just like Gordon B. Hinckley!!! May God bless his sweet family that he left behind.

My children (both grown, one a recent RM) and I watched Glenn at the conclusion of his television broadcast last night, and we were moved to tears. It was heartfelt and sincere, and it was something you don't get a chance to see much in the jaded world of broadcast journalism. What a great tribute to President Hinckley! I will not forget this moving moment in Glenn's show.

Beautiful video Glenn. I too was happy to hear he passed away. Now he can be reunited with his loving wife.

Your tribute was the best I ever heard. Bless you and I pray that we can all be nicer to others. Gordon and Marjorie would want it that way.

Wow, I rank this with the kids that dressed in Sunday clothes on Monday to school to pay tribute to President Hinckley, the comments by Glenn Beck were very moving and brought me to tears, I am not sad about the death of President Hinckley, but I am sad to not hear him speak again. The other day I was thinking about how much I miss LeGrand Richards, back then I had no idea who President Hinckley was, there are so many wonderful leaders to love and learn from, it never ends, even if one of them leaves this mortal stage. Thanks Brother Beck.

I just caught the Glen Beck tribute. The tears truly are trickling down my cheeks. That was just really very touching. I too was touched by the youth of God's church in dressing in Sunday clothes... how sweet is all of this. Truly, tenderness is winning over bitterness and I am so glad... thanks to all who have posted these last few days. You have touched my heart many, many times and for that I am grateful....

Last night I received an email notifiying me of the death of one of the finest men that I have ever known. I had never physically met him. I had been in attendance at conference sessions where he had spoken. I had felt of his spirit, his wisdom and his great love for his fellow men. Gordon B. Hinckley was not a politician. He was not someone who wanted other people to notice him. He was a common man who was such a leader that put him in front of groups, gatherings and conferences of the church.
I loved this man for who he was. For what he did for others and for me. Gordon B. Hinckley will be missed as possibly one of the greatest men and leaders that have ever walked this earth. President Hinckley wrote a book that I will always treasure. "Standing For Something" He truly did stand for something. Values, ideals, love and honor. "A Nation Will Rise No Higher Than The Strength Of It's Families." God bless you President Hinckley. We Love You, and ever pray for you.

I agree, Glenn Beck is really a SUPER great and wonderful guy. I was totally amazed at his fine spoken words of the passing of our Prophet. Glenn Beck is really moving up the ladder in the church. He has become a leader in his own way. I listen to him everyday single day and agree completely with what this guys says. Great work Mr. Beck. The LDS people love you!

We are saddened by the loss of our wonderful Prophet, President Hinckley. We will miss him very much.

I think what Glenn Beck said about Pres. Hinckley was appreciated and very nice. President Hinckley deserved every word of it, However, Glen Beck is no super, wonderful, hero guy, working his way up any kind of ladder.... Let's get real on here.

We will miss President Hinckley. He deserves all praises.

When I was living in Okinawa,Japan Gordan B. Hinckley came to speak to all the people there who wanted to listen. At the airport the Japanese people had brought a limousine to take him to the place where he was to speak. He saw the limousine and then asked a friend of mine who was there in his van if he could ride to the meeting in his van. My friend delivered the prophet to the meeting in the van. What a humble man the prophet was. He was never one for show.
