I'm really looking forward to this movie. The actors are proven in these roles, and the story is long overdue.

One of the movie makers is a direct descendant of Emma who is the first of the family to join the church and stay active. His access to family heirlooms, journals, people, etc. is important in telling the story -- not from an LDS perspective, but the family perspective.

Hopefully this film runs well in theaters and on DVD.

I am excited to view this release of Emma and to find out her feelings and thoughts. I find these types of movies both inspiring and educational. Living in North Carolina, I hope it doesn't take very long for it to find its way back east. I am confident that it will do well. My thanks to all who has had a hand in bringing this to light and into our lives. Keep up the superb work.

My husband and I saw it this evening. It was wonderful. Thanks for all your efforts to bring this to us. The actors and everyone involved did a great job. So much was left untold, but with only 90 minutes, you shared a veritable and inspiring story.

I believe I've watched every film ever made in which Joseph Smith had a small or large part of it's story--and I can say without any reservation that "Emma Smith: My Story" is THE BEST FILM I HAVE SEEN IN MY LIFE!!--I WAS MOVED AND TOUCHED AS I HAVE NEVER BEEN MOVED BEFORE!! On a scale of 1 to 10, Emma Smith is a 20! Eternal and Everlasting Kudos for this much needed story to finally be brought to life in this stunning and exquisite motion picture.

We go to few movies but we just took this one in. I would love to have a transcript of the words spoken in the movie. I suspect a significant portion is direct from recorded history, but regardless, much of it was very touching. I believe it would be significant to anyone's religion.

Very touching and beautifully done. (I believe the song that Emma sings by the window is "Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing".)

After many years of hearing desparaging comments, and feeling many of them myself, about Emma. I must say that my attributing the faults of the women in my day to this fine women was very short sighted. I am sorry that I compared women of today with their mean spiritedness, and cruelty toward their men and children to this fine woman. I dream of a time when a woman would love someone more than herself. Perhaps this shortsighted, but I was raised by a women such as this and have many such experiences since.

I just got my DVD copy from Amazon.com and I have to say that this movie is a beautiful work of art, no matter what your religious viewes are. Of course, it gives lots of light to the personal life of Emma, ... and what an unique and special lady she was, but it clarifies her story and dignifies her position in history, not only as the wife of Joseph Smith, but as a wonderful, unique and loving individual.

This movie it is a MUST SEE!

Get your DVD copy today! It is worth not only every penny, but yes, every dollar for such a great work of art and experiece!
