President Hinckley taught us to honor the past while looking to the future. He taught us to learn from history and from our heritage, and to go forward with the same faith (in every footstep) and devotion that our pioneer ancestors had. To me nothing symbolizes that aspect of his ministry more than the rebuilding of the Nauvoo temple. Thank you, President Hinckley. Your lessons will live in our hearts and in our lives always.
We were in the final session of the Nauvoo Temple dedication. It was an amzing sight to see the doors open at the end of the session and see hundreds of saints follow Pres. Hinckley's counsel to walk down Parleys street and feel the spirit of the early saints. I thought of how eager we were to do as he had counseled that day and hoped that myself and family would always be so eager to "follow the prophet". We love you President Hinckley. Thank you for your vision and courage. May God be with your loved ones at this tender time.
I still vividly remember the moment President Hinckley announced plans for the rebuilding of the Nauvoo Temple; I felt my heart literally leap. Five years later, I had the privilege of getting married in the Nauvoo Temple. We are so thankful for the great works President Hinckley dedicated his life to and the legacy he carried on and left. We will stand a little taller because of him.
We sorry, because we love him.
We want to see him and shake hands, as we look his eyes again.
This will not be possible now, at least for a while.
But we know he is fine now. And with very loved people arond him.
What a beautiful thing it is, to know for sure, that now there are 14 more prophets guiding the Church of Jesuschrist, and feel peace knowing that when it is the apropied time, the Lord will annoint a new Church President.
Till we see, dearest President Hinckley

Another achievement that ought to be mentioned is establishment of BYU-Idaho. It is now the second largest university in Idaho with around 20,000 students (annual enrollment). Great things are happening because of this university, and we owe it to Pres. Hinckley.
In Rexburg, we were looking forward to having Pres. Hinckley dedicate the Rexburg temple this Sunday, Feb. 3rd. We're all wondering what will happen now.
I Morn the death of my Prophet. He lifted me up with his Spirit amd messages all during his leadership in the Church of Jesus Christ of latter Day Saints. As our Prophet Seerer and Revelator .
During the Dedication of our Edmonton Alberta Temple I was fortunate to get a close look at President Hinckley as he walked through into the Celestrial room for the Temple dedication.
I was the one who did the official Portrait of the Temple and is now in all the central and Northern Alberta Stake, Ward and branches.I mailed a copy of my photo to President Hinckley, for which he replied back to me with a thank you.
I will dearly miss seeing and hearing his council and advise at General Conferences. President Hinckley is indeed in a better place now with his beloved wife Marjrie. May he rest in peace!
I will miss President Gordon B.Hinckley
