President Hinckley will be greatly missed. What an inspirational life. He had such a wonderful way of speaking that made everyone feel that he was just like your own Father or Grandfather. It is amazing how much he accomplished in his life and how many peoples lives he made better. He truly endured to the end and showed us how to be more Christlike. Our thoughts and prayers now turn to Pres. Monson he too is a truly remarkable man and will be a great prophet as well.

I am from the UK, all I can say is that I am joining with my brothers and sisters around the world in both grief and joy. Grief because we are going to miss this incredible Prophet and wonderful man, and joy because he is now with his beloved wife who he wanted so much to follow. I loved him with all of my heart, he touched everyone through his teachings and his words of wisdom and love. The world is going to be so much emptier without him. I will miss seeing his smile, and hearing his voice at conferences when they were transmitted via satellite to us. I haven't been a member for many years, but in the short time that I have, I came to love him, respect him and know that he was a true Prophet of God. May he rest in peace and have a wonderful time with Marjorie, I can only imagine his face coming face to face with Our Heavenly Father, it would be wreathed in smiles. God bless you President Hinckley, Wales, where you once served on your mission is going to miss you. You will be sadly missed.

Bless you dear President Hinckley for your life and ministry among God's children. Because "...we live together in love..." we "...weep for the loss of them that die...". We love you, and we mourn your passing. We rejoice in the knowledge of your joyous reunion with loved ones, prophets past, and our beloved Savior.

Condolences to the Hinckley family.

Our faith, prayers and confidence to President Monson and his family.

Have loved President Hinkley since I was a youg girl our love and admiration grew as a young married couple he visited our Stake and admonished the members to bloom and strengthen the Church where they were and not be anxious to move to Utah. "We need strong members of the Church in all parts of the world." he told us. "Utah doesn't need you, but your are despartly needed here."
The world has lost a great leader.

A great prophet who's work ethic, personality, love, and humor will be sorely missed by so many of us.

Its Not So Sad. Its Beautiful Because He Lived A Full Life, Most Of Us Will Never Have The Chance To Live And Now He's With Marjorie Again. The Loss Is Only Earthly And Very Much Felt. But His Life Is Truly Eternal And You Know He Went Straight To Heavenly Father And Got A Big Huge Embrace.

We should celebrate the exemplary life he led and honor him by living the Christ-like attributes he taught. Thank you President Hinckley for your life of service!

Thank you Pres. Hinkley for your example and teachings. I am a better man because of you. I know you had a beautiful reunion with your family last night. Again God be with you til we meet again.

He who knows and knows not that he knows is sleeping; wake him.
He who knows not and knows not he knows not is foolish; shun him.
He who knows not and knows he knows not is humble; teach him.
He who knows and knows that he knows is wise; follow him.
(Eastern Proverb)
Praise to the Man" - a true prophet - who was not only a good and faithful servant but one who magnified his calling and raised the bar by his own example. Selfishly I had hoped he would live several more years, so that I could continue to follow him and try to absorb even a little of his great humor and wit. The world seems darker right now his candle could not be hid in life. He was a man who knows that he knows, and I gladly and humbly followed him, because I know he followed the Savior.

My love and prayers to his family. And to all the Saints and people who loved him.

Larry W. in St. George, Utah

For a man that has lived his life as long as he has, I remember him saying "He is going to try to be a better man for the rest of his life." I want to "Thank Him" for all that he has done for our Church and our society and the world. We all love him and will miss him very much. He is know with his beloved wife and all the other prophets and our Father in Heaven. I will always love this man for what he has done for me and my family. Thank You

How can my heart feel so borken, yet so overwhelmingly happy for the release of President Hinckley's great spirit. Must be an LDS thing! What an inspiration he has been!

The world has lost a powerful advocate for Jesus Christ. He will be missed dearly. We pray for his family and associates. Yet, we know he had a great reunion waiting for him on the other side of the veil. We love you President Hinckley and your family.
