We will miss him greatly. He was a man of God, especially in action. We had our lesson on his conference talk about Anger. What a humble, charitable, loving prophet. We will never forget you.

We heard the news while talking to our son at BYU. I was hoping he would make it to 100 because he is so amazing!! I'm sure they are having a wonderful homecoming on the other side. I appreciate his challenge in 2005 to read the Book of Mormon. That was a wonderful experience for our family. I love his saying "It will all work out". Let's show Pres. Hinckley how much we love him by carrying on with faith and extending the knowledge we have with the rest of the world. We will be praying for his family and the leaders of the church. (Spokane, Wa)

I am so very, very sad. I have been crying since I heard the news. I will greatly miss him. He has deeply touched my heart. But I know he is in a far better place, with many, many friends, family and especially his beloved wife, Marjorie. What a wonderful reunion for them all!! He fulfilled his life's work here on earth and it was his time to go. The Lord took him. His body was growing weary. His closing speech in October conference made me think it was his farewell to the Church members. To his family, the Lord's spirit will be with you, I know, at this time. He was and still is a wonderful man as everyone knows. My heart is breaking (maybe because it was such a shock to me--he wasn't sick really) because I will miss him so much. He lived a remarkable life. Farewell, President Hinckley. You will be missed terribly and You are greatly loved!

Our prayers are with the Hinckleys this evening, and we joy to know that at last the Prophet is with his sweet wife again. God bless President Hinckley, and also President Monson, who must feel a tremendous weight this evening. You are in our prayers.

We were blessed to have known President Hinckley as our Prophet. He leaves a legacy of striving continuously to improve, to follow the example of Jesus Christ. As we shed our tears, we know this dear man is reunited with his eternal sweetheart Marjorie. May all who mourn, especially the Hinckley family, be blessed with the comfort that comes from a testimony of the Truth.

I can honestly say I loved this man. He stood for everything good, honorable, and righteous. His teachings in conference always spoke to my heart. He worked tirelessly to serve the members of the church. I feel very blessed to have had him serve as our prophet and leader. Thank you, Gordon B. Hinckley. May God's great blessings be with you now.

Thank you, President Hinckley. We will miss you.
My children only knew you, as a prophet. How am I going to tell them, you passed on?

While I grew up, the presidents of the church used to be quite distant. But since you appeared so frequently during satellite broadcasts, you became familiar to me. You were also the prophet, who issued my mission call to the England Manchester Mission, where you served as well. Now you are gone and I am left to mourne. Hope to see you again some time in a better world.

Our family adored President Hinckley, for we know that it was truly the spirit of the Lord that sustained this wonderful caring yet mortal man...making him capable of doing the wonderful things he did. While we are saddened at his passing, we know he is rejoiceing in the arms of those "gone on ahead" and I am sure he and his beloved Marjourie and dancing once again! Thanks for being such a wonderul, caring, whitty and charming man. And for leaving us such a legacy of love to follow after!

Till me meet again!!!!
